    Single-Player Campaign :

    Location:

    Rich & authentic environment :

    Limnos is the only island present in the game.

    Story:

    After years of intense warfare against Eastern armies, Europe has become the last stand for the battered NATO forces. On the verge of being driven into the sea, NATO command embarks upon a most desperate measure. In the hope of seizing what seems to be a well-guarded military secret, Operation Magnitude is launched.

    A small group of Special Forces and Researchers are sent to a Mediterranean island deep behind enemy lines. However, the mission is compromised and the task force destroyed, leaving Cpt. Scott Miller washed ashore upon the hostile island. In his effort to carry out the mission, he will face the dangers of modern warfare, an unforgiving environment, and the consequences of his own decisions...

    If they updated the ai to go inside buildings for cover, with will be one of the best sandbox shooters ever. I guess its time to start brushing up on my armaScript. :)

    It doesn't state if the specs are minimum or recommended, it just states system requirements.

    Here's hoping that's recommended (but i recon not).

    Bit tech stated they've revealed the minimum specs BUT the official site mentions nothing on them being minimum.

    I'm not saying they are or aren't (they very well could be, it is Arma after all) but nothing about them being minimum is official, Bit tech just added the minimum bit themselfs.

    Well the requirements are not so high considering this game is going to be released next year.

    By then Ivy Bridge and Bulldozer would have both been released along with a new generation of GPU's from both Nvidia and AMD. So a 5770 is going to be three generation old by then, same for the i5 (non SB).

    funny considering those "Minimum" specs could barely play arma 2/OA at a comfy frame rate.


    And other thing is they NEED to make the forests much more diverse, it was so stupid to run through miles of forest and every tree was the exact same.


    Also looking forward to hearing about the scripting engine updates (if any). And how they plan to stop hackers and script cheats. Arma 2/oa is so ****ing hacker friendly that most server admins just tried to befriend hackers so they could ask them nicely to stop, because there was really nothing you could do to stop them.
