    Soooooooooooooo frustrating.

Just typed out like 8 Paragraphs and was about to hit Submit, and accidently hit the side button on my mouse and it went like back and then I hit forward again and the thing was empty.

Sometimes it's still there, on some forums, but on the one I was just on, it didn't happen, and I lost all motivation to make that post...

So annoying...now I plan to make an abridged post and it'll just sound alot more lazy. :p

The last time a user incessantly ranted at every oppurtunity he robbed another user.

I've had the same thing happen a few times in an email, was around 4-5 large paragraphs, took around 25 mins to type, went back by mistake and lost all... :(

I've gotten in the habit with anything longer than a couple of sentences of using Word Pad or a similar simple text editor.

Hmm, back and forward doesnt seem to remove text here (fully load previous page). IE9 here.

But, make long post, forum asks to log-in because of timeout, wrong password and text is gone. But still, doesnt hurt to do crtl + a and ctrl + c from time to time.

Well if I really want to post something that long I use Go Advanced and then FF will protect the work lol.

Ive had it plenty of times, at times i feel the need to press buttons im not supposed to press on the mouse. sometimes it keeps the typed data, and sometimes everything is blank. so damn annoying when that happens.

Yes...I'd guess about 25% of posts I start, I actually end up not posting.

When I type something long and I cannot save a draft, I usually select the whole text from time to time and press ctrl-ins to copy it to the clipboard. It saved me many times :)

If you make a habit out of pressing <CTRL>+A (select all) and then pressing <CTRL>+<INS> (copy) immediately afterwards, you can always recover by pressing <SHIFT>+<INS> (paste) when needed. :nerd:

When I do that it's not so much about how much I've written but about how well structured it is. You can't always get those sentences to shine so brightly ever again, they become lost to the void.

    Oblivion take me! lol

Might sound OCD, but alot of my post's i type up first in word then copy it over, the spell checker in Chrome has sorted out one side, but i previously lost many posts due to the same thing, so i still do it from time to time.
