Its going to be 4 GB unless optimised in DX12 for seperated tiles \ textures. Think of one card having one set of textures and the other card have another set of textures , so one card has parts of the scene , another card has the other parts.

Its not going to be anywhere near 100% of DX12 games supporting that feature however IMHO. I would think there are load balancing issues and this will be split frame rendering so one card may take longer to generate its part of the frame etc if one gpu has more of the texture rendering to do in that frame etc.

Where fury x will be interesting is to see if AMD has worked wonders with the frame buffer / texture compression etc. If 4gb can act like 6gb then they will have something very interesting indeed.

Or it needs properly optimized games. I loled yesterday on yet another gameworks in action steam rating.
Batman: AK - 70% negative - people with 970/980 have trouble keeping 30fps on 1080p...

That software is not made for any of us, it is made for purpose of drawing future GPU sales.

this is actually a good point, either the devs are dumb
or they doing this on purpose to drive sales for new GPUs
so upgrade is a must, it took how many years of upgrades to finally run CRYSIS maxed out?
quite a few years and quite alot of money.
when new cards are reviewed people would jump straight to the crysis benchmark to see what the new card could do lol

i guess devs are trying to get their new games on that crysis level

on that vid posted earlier, they confirmed 60hz would be max when using the adaptor
they busy working on active adaptors to fix the issue, but no date when it will be available
