I use revo uninstaller portable version to remove some hard to uninstall apps use them as a last resort if normal uninstallers fail
they can be very useful if you have something that will not uninstall, also handy for removing crap en masse from OEM systems. Revo is a good one.
All you need to do is to learn Microsoft Installer https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/msi/windows-installer-portal
I kind of remember MS having an uninstaller app too, used it like 2000 era to fix a reinstall issue. That was back in W98-XP time I think, I don't think it's available anymore.
pacman -Rns solves all my problems.. oh wait, this is not Blindows. yeah, uninstallers are really snake oil, problem that they sneak on you
IOBit has a good 1, cleans all the leftovers from an uninstall and has some other features removing stuff from browser ect. I've only used a couple of times for certain reasons but it works.
imo it depends I dont think they do any better then normal ones that come with each program installed or build in function in the OS atlest they shouldn't by now well there not as bad as they use to be in terms of remove registry entries. They super handy if the uninstall for program or OS has become corrupt and no longer works.
just a side note, maybe sandboxie (not an uninstaller, but incase you want to test apps and now worry about uninstall issues later on)
