Well, I just had an old am3 install from long ago - never bothered reinstalling it, after new mobo inserted into case I decided to boot xp64 up, and all I had to do was install a few drivers reboot a few times then ran AM3. Nothing really out of the ordinary. I did install the AMDCPU thingy for x64 - dont think that has anything to do with it tho.

Not bad Ojibewa but I bet you could get 85k fairly easily since me on a 6800GT got 82k easily

The rig in my specs is my baby, just finished building her a few days ago, so I have been benching like crazy thus far, im also scoring 5100 in 3dmark06 *4700 stock clocks* so im working on pushing it :D

*edit* - I also plan on adding a second 7900GT later this year, then seeing if i can crack 150k+ :)

Yeah Ojib, I would think you should be able to squeeze some higher scores out of your card/system. More like 85 - 87K, considering I'm getting 70K+ with the rig in my specs. Try tweaking some more, and if ya aren't, use Rivatuner and make some adjustments in the Power User tab. If ya need some advice on what to tweak in the PU tab, let me know. Good luck. :givebeer:

Score from the system in my spec:

I just can't get any higher no matter what - it's just too CPU bound and I can't push my CPU any higher and maintain pi stability. But 101,000+ is pretty good I think. It's not going to break any records, but it makes a great score for a rig that is on 24/7.

Actually not to sound like an ass but 1 7800GT can get that fairly easily

    Eric,

that's why I said it has become CPU bound, I could pull out one of my cards and probably still get the same score.

Sorry if I didn't communicate that better.

Yep, if I select a single card or SLI, the score is about the same. AM3 has become a CPU test since it barely stresses newer cards. SLI does almost nil to improve scores. 120K with or without it.
