Yay finally broke 75k with 76.44. Same old benchmarking settings check sig for links & details
new am3 run....
OMG... I got 57000 on my rig... Something is really wrong...
your processor is a bottleneck even o/c'd
i am going for 49K now [/IMG] and thats on my 5900XT
WOW... It is. PROOF for all the "Bottlenecking is overrated" people... Well I gotta get a new mobo/cpu. My ram is GREAT...
here's my score. is that about right for my system?
is that stock speeds?
new score : 75203
i got 76, 398... eh its been better...
try to get atleast a amd 64bits 3200+ that will help fixing the biggest bottleneck if you have the money go for highend!
I just did it with my winfast leadtek 6600 gt pci and go 50,530 i use 3rd party drivers as well
bit faster just droped pci-e to 85mhz
Well my new PSU arrived and installed it last night. Started benchmarking this morning when the PC was nice & cool. My new CPU OC is 3.8Ghz!! I can also clock my BFG6800U higher as well. So i pretty much tightened everything as much as possible and i got:
I just couldnt break 80k! Not today anyway will wait for some different drivers. My ram was as tight as it would go and even 3.9Ghz (my highest CPU OC) didnt help. Will fiddle with other GFX clock speeds but that will do for now.
I'm very happy with my score!
lol, it's better then mine with my proc at 2.2Ghz, which got shy of 51,000
Yea AM3 jumps massively in marks when you get good components in your case. Its also very CPU dependant & memory timing dependant.
#1 for straight 6800, speeds of 2800 to 3200 on cpu(intel)
New score of 97,811! Getting there... wanna get past 100,000, although i think it'll be a struggle until i get this thing on water. Link in sig.
I don' t understand if i need OC more the CPU, or try pehraps push the OC of GPU,,, my score stay at ~85'000.
now with OC more: 80'513 (GFX 12'699/CPU 10996) and i use a driver with more IQ and speed in games, but a little decrease in bench..
am3 loves the fsb as high as you can run, drop the multi and crank the fsb but try not to Lossen memory timings to much, its better to drop mem to 166 @cas 2.2.2,8.t1 (in aq3)and use the fsb to bring up the bandwidth.
Looking at your score 10999 cpu is a bit average for a 3500 sli rig try 290x8 = 2610 that will probably pan out at memory around the 240ish@166 xms should do 2,5. 2. 2. 8. t1 @240 it is important to try and keep your cas to ras delay at 2 it will do more than cas 2 will.
drivers 76.10 dont bother with any other drive for sli Now go and tweak them suckers !
