Crashes with an error stating not compatible with Win7. I've tried using the Vista 64 patch for it, and running it in compatability mode, but no luck. Even downloaded a fresh copy and reinstalled it, but won't run. Anyone else having luck running it under Win7 64?
I just installed AM on this computer to test for you. I can run it properly. I first did not install the Vista patch and couldn't run it. With the patch here on w7 64, it ran fine. Are you sure you copied the two files over to your install folder OVERWRITING the existing? Also you will find that it will be running in dx9 emulation mode and give you very poor scores(~100,000 points less).
Very respectable score, Bodar. Especially for a single Ati card. The best I've seen was AFAIK was Chispy @ somewhere around 360~370 thousand with a few 285's. Very nice.
I guess ill partition my hd and install xp x86 or x64 ... does it mater? Just for curiosity sake. Off course. Cheers.
I can get it to run with win 7 ultimate x64 with the 64bit patch but after it finishes it will not show the score.
^^^nice run ed thats a sweet chipn you got i want to be like boman but im a broke bitch fun with dice cpu/gpu stock volt gtx plenty on the cpu
man i cant find no dice around here since its like hell degrees outside and all sorts of power outages are going on...on my staycation i deserve better you know?? anyways i went over to this place in kenelworth called cryofab to ask if they could like fill up my cooler wih ln2..nope safety issue the guy says "sry you have no dewar or i would" :wanker:.. ok i understand they dont sell it they use it to freeze dead people with ....so ok i flag down all the co2,welder tank and ln2 trucks i could find around "no i dont have none" was the answer from all BUT one guy,a yankee fan no less. he said he was all out but he would check the tanks since it was only a small 12 pack cooler sho' nuff he found some and filled it i spilled alot on the rush home(5 min away)but in 15 minutes i knew its the ln2 my chip needs had maybe 4/5'ths of a gallon -100c only 5.68 here but i could never get that with dice on even higher volts.. at 1.70v 5.8-9 was ok for am3 and 05.playing cpuz ok to 6.05 but crashed with only 1.73v i need a f'in dewar the driver guy reconigzed me from the area and said if i ever need some just stop him and ask where all the white dewars be at/:banana:
That's awesome gino!! Got the LN2 Going!! Now the fun begins! Here's the best clock for 3d so far.. second best chip... not the 6700mhz one but it's good.. This is single gpu at stock clocks.. 700 / 950
Crazy numbers on crazy chip Bodar  This is the best i can manage with a Bad 980x that i have now. Im waiting for the release of the 990x maybe i get lucky and find me a better chip By chispy at 2010-10-02
newer cpu cannot increase performance yet for single thread or core about long time. therefore very bad for amd and intel CPU. because this cpu doesn't go to more than 4 GHz at stock speed. I think: CPUs - single thread/core Pentium III at 600MHz - end of 1999 P4 at 3.33GHz - end of 2003 "virtual" CPUs: "Core 2 Quad" 18GHz - end of 2007 60GHz - now 60GHz would solve performance problem (bottleneck) but very good for lastest videocard in old games or programs.
This concludes my ln2 session on testing this gtx275. I had a good time with this Lightening tonight. I think I can go to 900~950 with ln2. What do you think?
