APU + graphics card = win?

    anyone got any links to articles showing what an APU + say the highest end AMD card can do?

    Lets assume i get one now, will the same slot work on the trinity processors?

    This sounds too good to be true, lol...

    I would think you could only use the APU or video card. unless there is some sort of hybrid crossfire setup that would work. Kind of like integrated video cards in mobo's... you cant use it AND a video card, its one or the other. I may be wrong, but I haven't heard of any apu + video card combinations for performance.

    Hybrid CF works with Llano but it scales poorly.

    No it doesn't. If you pair the apu with equivalent gfx it scales fine. You're going to be playing with low settings and <720P resolution, but, that's to be expected.

    If you've got a high-end gfx, then, you're probably better off just using that on it's own.
