The thermal pad i ordered finally arrive. It's an idea to reduce temperature by placing thermal pads
around the gpu which does not had contact to the heatsink due to a serious design flaw.
Thermal paste were not apply to the gpu.
I uploaded pictures of how i placed those thermal pads around the gpu and temperature of gpu
after booting to windows. Comments ?

Show us temperatures when the GPU is used.

    Here are more results. :)
Update: I ended up applying thermal pad on the whole processor temporary because
i suddenly found that there is a >05-1mmmm gap between the heatsink and processor
when i measure the height difference between vram and processor and thermal paste used for filling microscopic holes applied by factory were not useful and
was getting false nice temperature reading all along. Mine is a gigabyte gtx 1660s, i wonder if this happen on all graphics cards ? My current true temperature readings were acceptable but i may further improve it.

Perhaps you should something like the new Thermal Grizzly's KryoSheet would work better for you instead. Be careful to get the right size for your GPU die, though, as it's electrically conductive.

I'm more interested in temperatures when the GPU is under full load. Run a benchmark tool that stresses the GPU to 90 - 100%. Temperatures at 38% load aren't that meaningful.

I won't want to full load any gpu with serious design flaw with protruded metal only cover
35% of the whole processor. Plus my playstation computer is connected to fuse-less wall sockets with two power lines power directly from a 230v 40a main circuit breaker and my 650w psu is slow blow fuse type which has wider electrical path than fast blow fuse type psu which most computers are using. Playing with genuine computer is difference from pirated computer. I bet most computers
can't even function with similar power supply configuration. :)

Ordered and received thermal pads and copper pads to replace the stock ones for my gigabyte gtx1660s.

    @teots
Things to make you go Hmm.
But, great fun, excellent post. TY for sharing! :)
I used to get up to all sorts of tricks with my GPU's years ago.
Like if it was a 2 way blower. 1 blowing out and 1 blowing into the case then I would modify some food packaging to force the blowing in to then be ported over the back of the card to the back of the PC. This actually did work and in a test I did it lowered case temps by 2c
Back in the old days of single slot coolers, I used to put a small fan on the (pcb) back of the gpu and again this also worked adding extra GPU cooling of 2c.
