If you guys have followed the news on Apple being ordered to apologize publicly in the UK, here's another follow-up after that apology 'misconduct'. Apparently the UK's Court of Appeal wasn't impressed, so Apple have to reissue another apology for the previous apology in 48 hours. (after Apple's guy trying to get 14 days for it due to "various technical reasons") As an additional blow, this just happened in Mexico.
Well, not by a long shot, no...but it's just fun reading Apple representatives' reactions when something backfires. Besides, it's good for the UK Court to be seen as not to be easily undermined by a corporation, especially by Apple. At some other places, however...
I think it's funny that they tried to argue that it takes 14 days to update their website. How fast was the site updated after Jobs died?
I'm glad they lost that Mexican one, I mean come on. The company was registered 4 years before apple did and they think they have the right, lol. What BS, I really can't stand seeing any apple products in front of me anymore or talk about purchasing something of theirs. I just want to punch the person in the face, lol.
Apple is ruining their Name with the...>We invented everything additude!!!......People get tired of this S***....
just give it time. You can only climb but so high in the tech world before you fall off that perverbial ladder.
Let's not forget the cafe they also sued. And IIRC, wasn't New York being sued for the Big Apple logo?
Reading about Apple's UK and Mexico debacle made my day! I've always hated their 'my way or the highway' attitude! The day they fall can't come soon enough...
Well that is the way the legal system should work, protecting those that are threatened by large corporations when they have zero grounds for doing so.
http://www.apple.com/uk/ Ahahahahahaha gutted. Just look like dicks now, and the new apology is much better. http://www.apple.com/uk/legal-judgement/
Let's be fair here, I hate Apple and their sue happy ways but this is NOT an apology, it is a court order for them state the facts; the High courts have ruled that Apple's accusation of copying by Samsung on the tablets have no merit. I mean, a decent thing to do when you're wrong is to say sorry but you won't see that...
