APEX 1.3 released, features first iteration of real-time fracturing

    what really really pisses me off is that its not being implemented in games. its more like physx was the next best thing, for me personally i was like a kid in a candy store with a gun and i could fire away and see the amazing destruction...

    and i am still waiting......


    too few developers adopted it, i understand its proprietory, so atleast they should have gotten together and made an industry standard...

    thats where opencl comes in, but still its not happening.

    the destruction in the latest greatest battlefield 4 is a joke. there is no actual destruction, i mean i blowing up something is like as follows:

    one moment its there, its hit by a missile, the next frame its just a heap of flames.

    the transition of destruction just DOES NOT EXIST.

    and it wont for a very long time. rather sad honestly.
