Anyone using Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3L

    I just got done putting a rig together for a friend of mine using the above mentioned board. Have 2 identical HDs to run in Raid 0, weird thing is this:

    Manual says to enable Raid under SATA RAID/AHCI Mode but in reality, the only available choices are Disabled and AHCI, No Raid option what so ever.

    Anyone know what to do? I really want to enable Raid 0 for him.

    Are the HDDs connected to the SATA or GSATA connections?

    The SATA ones are controlled by the Intel Southbridge, and the GSATA are controlled by the Gigabyte SATA Controller.

    Try both, they will both do RAID 0 and 1.

    Hate to be the bearer of the bad news, but the GA-EP45-UD3L is not RAID capable out of the box.

    That totally blows, oh well it was only $60 for him. Can't complain for that price since it at least overclocks.
