Anyone have this problem in Black Ops?

Reznov is completely black with his hair in tact for correct shadowing with my flashlight. I'm not sure what's going on. I have the latest drivers installed, I uninstalled the game and re-downloaded it through steam and it's not fixing it. Could it be my direct x?

 

you try switching back to another driver?also that looks like a driver problem.

 

That issue has been brought up in these forums once or twice and I don't think anybody couuld ever figure out what was causing it.

Try searching it in the forums and see what you get.

 

Tried that didn't work, went back to 275's, had 280's and no change. I tried reinstalling direct X also, but nothing.

 

Its a minute problem, just skip it.

 

Um, I want to know if it's my computer or if it's just the game. Don't tell me to skip it. I'm trying to figure a "minute" problem out now so it doesn't become something larger later. Thanks though :|

 

Engine fail (shaders most likely). If you don't experience any problems in other games, I'd say skip it.

Try applying different video settings and see if it fixes it (Texture quality etc...)

Just skip it dude. its a fairly common problem from what I've seen around the web and its only for a few seconds. Its not your computer. Your getting kinda paranoid over a stupid little problem in a game that's full of issues.

Yeah reznov is scaring me into wanting to fix it, but if it's not fixable screw it haha.

 

i get the same issue, never been able to fix it.
strange thing is it worked ok the week before, no driver updates or anything in between
