Love headphones but i hate fellow commuters on the train who have crap ones!!! Especially when they have a poor taste in music
Can say addicted, but I like them and use them. For outdoors I have the Thinksound ts02+mic and for games and movies the Sony Wireless Gold. I’m missing a good music listening pair, but I’m thinking of getting the AKG K92. Good reviews all around and a reasonable price. Unfortunately I’m stuck using some crappy HP headphones all day at work, cause they are the corporate standard..

I do sympathize and relate because (don`t forget that) I too live in country where all high tech hardware either from West or East is double priced.
This is the question of the sound isolation of your headphones (their too but you can`t change it). I found that big cans can`t compete on sound isolation with in-ear ones.
Not bad, thanks for the link, quite a bit cheaper than Amazon, I think I'll actually purchase a pair. I've read so many reviews about the Klipsch earphones and they are raving, especially if you are a bass head.
You could get the Monoprice noise cancelling headphones. https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=10010 They're only $50. I have them and they do a decent job at cancelling sound out. I have Superlux HD660s which I still like. They're a little sibilant, but the bass is well balanced and not too bloated. I also have some ATH-A900X's. They are a bit better than the HD660s, but I'd really like to get pads that are softer since they don't really seal well at the bottom of my ear.
No, but I listened to Sennheiser HD660s and they were already too warm for my taste. HD650 probably warmer in lower end. Still, I probably gonna give them a try. While auditioning different headphones, I enjoyed HD600 the most. The listening experience was effortless, familiar, natural and pleasant. I already want HD600 just cause I enjoyed them a lot. DT1990 Pro had some really nice clean punchy bass and tremble was clear, those are a bit V-shaped and it takes some effort to listen to them, but I think they would be perfect for gaming. As great HD600 is, it's a bit "boring" for gaming.
Sure, looked around for some until I found good ones. AKG 701 - too bright, where's the bas? Beyer Dynamics 990 - loudness sound, bad vocals. Will make bas sound great but you won't want to use them for music. And the ones that worked - AKG 273 Pro. Very neutral sounding, not as comfortable as the above but it's quite terrific. Would pay even more to get distortion down even further. It can be quite addicting, certain songs I get the impression that the drums are in the room, and sometimes the illusion of not hearing where the audio comes from is quite fantastic. Use the Pros with Audioquest Red Dragonfly USB DAC for around 200e, which is true plug and play.
I listen through headphones some of the time, but prefer floor speakers. I tend to listen too loud with headphones and it has lead to some tinnitus. With a hi-fi setup, you can listen at pretty good volume without doing damage to your ears.
