Yeah. But I don`t want to get out of the addiction. I managed to stop buying new ones without actual need.

Nah not really. Have a superlux 681b on the pc and some sennheiser 300/2 for mobility. They serve me well and i see no need for more headphones.

I have the original HyperX Cloud headphones and they sound great with SoundBlaster Z, but I dream that some day I'd be able to afford AudioTechnica M50X

I have a pair of Steel Series Siberia v2 Full-Size Black, I love um. Also a pair of Turtle Beach X32, neither are spectacular but do the job.

I have re-bought the same samsung ones that came with my phone over and over and over.

Actually getting kinda hard to not get fakes

It plays my music, I love my music, not the thing into my ear, sounds good enough.

All I ever use is my headphones. I find them practical compared to speakers, also a lot cheaper. That being said, I've spent around £1,000 on my 4 pairs of headphones but all I ever use is my Sennheiser HD650. Plugged into a nice tube preamp/DAC they sound just as good as I'll ever be able to consider good value.

If I was to "upgrade" the HD650, I would probably have to spend well over £500 on a headphone and there's always the question... Will I prefer them over the HD650? Probably not. They sound perfect to me and they put a smile on my face.

You are forgetting we get ripped off here in UK. Perhaps reasonably priced in the US, not in the UK. :(

Locally, it's just over $300 in the UK yet in the US just over $200, quite a difference...

That said, I have paid around £500 or more previously for the top of the range Shure earphones, boy were they amazing.

I have a pair of turtle beach PX21, and the deep rich bass on them is just out of this world, fantastic headset for music or gaming.

I wouldn't mind buying noise canceling Bose headphones but I'm not prepared to pay the €350 they cost
