Have all kinds and can't get out of the addiction.
Yeah. But I don`t want to get out of the addiction. I managed to stop buying new ones without actual need.
Nah not really. Have a superlux 681b on the pc and some sennheiser 300/2 for mobility. They serve me well and i see no need for more headphones.
I will be getting this baby soon, expensive but amazing:
KLIPSCH REFERENCE XR8I HYBRID IN-EAR HEADPHONES / Dynamic Woofer
I will silently smile on that "expensive" part...
How do you audibly smile?
At $270 they're nice, but them buds better be able roll up by themselves after use.
I have the original HyperX Cloud headphones and they sound great with SoundBlaster Z, but I dream that some day I'd be able to afford AudioTechnica M50X
I have a pair of Steel Series Siberia v2 Full-Size Black, I love um. Also a pair of Turtle Beach X32, neither are spectacular but do the job.
OK, I will try to remember which ones I had/have.
Koss (don`t remember the model), Audio-Technica M50, Audio-Technica A55, AKG K270 Studio, Denon D2000, Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro (80 Ohm)
Sennhiser CX300/400, KLIPSCH Image S3, Etymotic 4P, Etymotic HF5, Phonak Audeo PFE012, Ultimate Ears SuperFi 5 Pro, Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10, Ortofon E-Q7, Final Audio Design Heaven IV, Monster Turbine Pro (copper edition), Shure SE112, Weston UM Pro 30, Audio-Technica IM03, EarSonics SM3, RHA T20, Sony XBA-3.
I have re-bought the same samsung ones that came with my phone over and over and over.
Actually getting kinda hard to not get fakes
It plays my music, I love my music, not the thing into my ear, sounds good enough.
I just bought some AKG K550s from CL for 100 bucks that's as far as I'm going lol.
All I ever use is my headphones. I find them practical compared to speakers, also a lot cheaper. That being said, I've spent around £1,000 on my 4 pairs of headphones but all I ever use is my Sennheiser HD650. Plugged into a nice tube preamp/DAC they sound just as good as I'll ever be able to consider good value.
If I was to "upgrade" the HD650, I would probably have to spend well over £500 on a headphone and there's always the question... Will I prefer them over the HD650? Probably not. They sound perfect to me and they put a smile on my face.
Do love headphones, but always make sure you're still aware of your surroundings -
AKG K701& outside I wear Optoma NuForce NE800M.
Audio Technica R70X for my open back headphones, JVC HARX-330 for closed back and Nuforce HEM 2 for IEM's.
You are forgetting we get ripped off here in UK. Perhaps reasonably priced in the US, not in the UK.
Locally, it's just over $300 in the UK yet in the US just over $200, quite a difference...
That said, I have paid around £500 or more previously for the top of the range Shure earphones, boy were they amazing.
I have a pair of turtle beach PX21, and the deep rich bass on them is just out of this world, fantastic headset for music or gaming.
I wouldn't mind buying noise canceling Bose headphones but I'm not prepared to pay the €350 they cost
