The first time I played I got this issue except everything 3D was brown and this time everything 3D is blue. Anything rendered in 2D shows up fine as you can see in the screenshots but anything rendered in 3D is either this weird single colour hue with a bright spot in the middle or black above a "horizon" as you can see. This has happened with two sets of drivers so far and I have used DDU between the drivers to make sure nothing was corrupted.

    Win 10 x64 Pro 1809
    ROG STRIX GTX 1080
Happened so far on both 417.71 and 418.81 drivers
    ROG STRIX B350-F Gaming
    Ryzen 1600 @ 3.9ghz
    G. Skill Ripjaw V 16GB (2 x 8) @ 3000mhz CL14

Everything is up to date any my system is tested 24 hours rock solid in all CPU/RAM/GPU stress tests while no other games have any problems. Here are 4 screen shots to show exactly what is happening. Anyone else getting this from time to time? This is the second time it has happened to me so far.

That's curious. I've played through the game three times and this never happened to me...

Resident Evil 2 has been working perfectly fine at near max settings (DX11) on my PC with 417.75 and 418.81 so far. Still using 1803 though.

Your not using any mods like the vignette remover are you?

i tried it and i get a white screen with a blue hue in it and all i could see were the button prompts .. removed it and it was fine again

Problem (i think is your monitor aspect ratio) or FOV settings.

Make a backup of the .exe file.

    Then apply this : https://uploadfiles.io/8avem

I have no mods installed and am not using DX12. All my drivers are up to date including BIOS. It is only RE2 that I am having an issue with as all my other games play rock solid for hours on end with no problems what so ever. Caesar, what is that file exactly? Also, why would it just randomly appear if it was an aspect ratio or FOV issue. I am running 2560*1440 with... hmm I'll have to check the FOV. 90 if it has that option as that is what I usually set. It is all very standard stuff.

Try going into the config file in your RE2 installation folder (re2_config.ini) and change the setting "UseVendorExtention" to "Disable". That worked for me on DX11, when I encountered this issue when interacting with the computer in the main hall at the beginning of the game, both in the full game and the demo.
