    Over half a grand to play some console ports and run 3dmark11 a bit faster, pc gaming at its best.

    also what happened to the guy who was telling me its ok that they only just outperform the 580 because they are going to be cheaper? £100+ is ridiculous and if nvidia's show the same performance il be saying the same about them too.

    Maybe I'm just old and grumpy and value my money more than I use to but I see no up coming reason to upgrade from my 570 not for the small performance jump and lack of games to utilise these fancy dx11 features.

    Looks like Aria has some of the best prices in the UK. Picked up an Asus 7970 from them in the wee small hours. Most of the other retailers have the Asus at a little over £500. Aria were quite a bit less than that.

    I saw Asus for 562€, i thought it would be more €€€.. It looks cheap compared to 580gtx that's still 430-480€.

    First cards in this part of EU are popping up at ~2800 PLN = 520 GBP = 630 EUR

    That's for reference Asus and it's way too much, it was supposed to be about 2200 PLN = 405 GBP = 490 EUR

    20% overprice for starters, eh...

    Ebuyer taking the wazz, had 9 powercolours around half 2, £416, went down to 6 as sold 3, so they whacked the price up to £444, now another 10 has turned up (as got 16 now), so thats increased the price again, now at £448. :D

    Ebuyer price change, 10 left of the Powercolours, down to £444 again, hilarious, price is up and down like a hoares draws :D

    The OcUK 7970 (or most OcUK GPU's) are usually a Powercolor card anyway.. they just rebrand to OcUK.

    So best go for the OcUK brand and save a few ££'s :)

    Not selling to well in the UK, Overcockers only got about 150 or something, still got a shedload in stock, Ebuyers not sold many from all the ones they have in, Scans still got a shedload, mjust be the pricing putting people off :p
