thebeast :: results my scores are in my sig.... (with Online Result Browser links) maybe if i closed off my antivirus and my abundance of processes I dare say I'd do better I also got 8800+ in 3Dmark03 with metalstorm15's (this thread's owner) XFX 6600GT in my 3400+ HTPC (QBIC EQ3801A), 1GB RAM, Seagate 120GB SATA View All My Systems
3400+ 3400+ is pretty much the best lower-end AMD64 -- it comfortably beats the 3500+, even in dual-channel. My aim was to build a fast/quiet/stable HTPC and I've more than suceeded thanks to the 3400+ the 6600GT was just a loaner from metalstorm (I got it, he paid) cuz at the time i was working PC retail and could get em cheap, and theyre one of the better 6600GT's -- they come clocked higher and have 1.6ns Samsung modules (good for 1200mhz+). I tested the card for 3-4 days in my HTPC, then sent it to metalstorm. It ran cool, stable and managed almost 8900 in 3dmark03, stock clockspeed (aim was to check it was all OK before its journey)
yea I love my 3400+ as well. so far all my scores and OC's with it have been on stock cooling so now I am thinking of slapping a Vapo LS on it and see how much this chip can really take lol.
