Yea, Because this most likely harm the guy even more if the zetas that bad of a cartel,And Anonymous would had just push them to do it. They better hope the people they are threaten don't have connections all over the place. Sooner or later if they unlucky, The Zetas might just find out who the anonymous that threaten them on youtube is.

The reason he got kidnapped was likely because they had this information, he knew what he was getting into, blackmail never turns out well in the end, so this guy is very likely dead.

Ironically, Anonymous just show that no one is anonymous, so wouldn't surprise me if more of then "disappear" worldwise over time.

The guy will never get released anyway.... The Zetas have no reason to worry with as corrupt as the Mexican legal system has become. Unless another country is willing to commit to a covert military operation within the Mexican borders....these Mexican drug cartels are perfectly safe.

Convincing Mexico to act against the drug cartels is like trying to get the US gov't to act against the corrupt politicians in DC....

Exactly Sykozis...I can't imagine this "threat" will do anything but make the cartel laugh.

IMO the Hacker is already gone. Zetas will be exposed and who knows, we might have a couple more thrown in too. Nov 5th sounds interesting.

Of course the hacker is already dead. If Anonymous does release any info the Zetas will probably just trace it to a few Anons and have them killed too. This would just be any opportunity to silence a few more people willing to speak out against the cartels. The cartels couldn't care less if a few names of people they have in their pockets get released, they'll just replace those people.

The fact that we declare war on Israels neighbors but let OUR neighbors kill, rape, pillage, exploit, kidnap our OWN citizens as well as terrorize our borders and THEIR own nation, is truely pathetic.. And a huge insight into how our nation has been bought, sold, and destroyed by outside interests.

how would the zetas track anything? theyre a bunch of drug kingpins, or lackey thugs. the majority of people on this enthusiast computing forum wouldnt even know how to track down somebody internationally, and we know more than at least 90% of the general population.

now, the guy who got abducted, yeah hes probably going to end up dead once they realize they cant ransom him for much...wat remains to be seen is how guy fawkes inc responds to this. the zetas sure as hell wont acknowledge anything.

Thugs with alot of money, who could/will pay people to track them down, no one is expecting them to do it themselves lol.

Either way, it shoud be interesting watching how this plays out, both sides are scum, so its a win/win situation.

How can they call themselves anonymous when their people get picked off the streets and kidnapped?

No it's not, it's exactly the same thing, you just hire a different sort of person to do each task.

If Anonymous can track down paid off people form this cartel, then this Cartel can track down members of Anonymous.

    Live by the sword......

Money can get you connected to anyone you want.

Even the local small time drug dealers round my way have lawyers and accountants, and even a huge movie piracy business that involves dozens of PC's, so no, i don't find it in any way a stretch to believe.
