Under its Make Art Not Tech vision, Angry Miao launched AM HATSU yesterday, the world's first organically shaped wireless · 3D · split ergo keyboard, priced at 1600 USD.... Angry Miao launches AM HATSU split ergo keyboard at only 1600 USD
For that price, the RGB LED better offer tan saloon features and hacking skills to those who acquire it. Even so, ain't worth for me.
From where I was born the saying goes: "It's not stupid the one who ask the price, but the one who pays it."
Fortunately for the sellers, the world is packed with such stupid people. Imagine asking tens of thousands of dollars for a bitcoin, and actually finding plenty of people willing to pay. This keyboard is nothing in comparison.
For 1600UD that thing better comes gold plated as a minimum. Pricing is as usual with stuff made for special need, to high.
It is weird, but from all left hand gaming KBs, Razer has currently best one for me. Tartarus V2 cloned what was good on Saitek's Pro Gamer Command Unit (which I have like 14 years) and improved greatly that design. There are only 2 issues I have. 1st) I am not sure if this thing from Razer lives at least 5 years. 2nd) I do not think any controller software beats Saitek's original programability which in some cases feels is cheating. If I was sure Razer's device will deliver, I would get it because one thing that ages on my current CU are conductive rubber domes and bottoming out lightly no longer ensures contact in 100% of cases. But this thing here, I must be missing something. If I get more expensive Tartarus Pro which just features different keys from V2, I still can get tons of spare ones (for price of one unit shown in OP) just in case Razer's famous durability plagues it. This Karate Kid keypad here is expensive for reason unknown to me.
My keyboard was something like 15 dollars and it has outlived a lot of my other other pc components over the years... This is the most real thing to have ever been written on a forum.
