Can install over the previous release? or needs a DDU?

 

Yes, it can be overwritten without DDU. Just check the dependency ccc2_installer on google drive. If match previous version, you can reuse it on newer release.

This isn't about performance tweaking. Before i create modded driver, there's 5 user participating in CBT NimeZ 20.8 since August 2020 with different problem:

• Oveclocking Bugs on Adrenalin UI causing BSOD
• High CPU usage on Adrenalin UI
• Game often crash to Desktop
• Using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, or After Effects working in large number of layer causing crash
• System response delayed 2 seconds or freezing

Spoiler: Stage Development

3 Stage during development with trial and test:

### Stage One (August 2020 NimeZ CBT 20.8) ###
Report:

• 20 Days testing, no problem occurred above listed
• Unmodified INF, just generating .CAT with filehash

### Stage Two (September 2020 NimeZ CBT 20.9) ###
Report:

• 20 Days testing, no problem occurred above listed
• Modified INF with tweaks
• 5 More people participating on NimeZ CBT 20.9
• Some participant reporting system more stable or optimized using driver mod

Final Stage (October 2020 NimeZ Beta 20.10)
Report:

• 20 Days testing, no problem occurred above listed
• Modified INF with tweaks
• 12 More people participating on NImeZ Beta 20.10
• Some participant reporting "common bugs" are gone

It's up to you, we don't force anyone to install this driver.

 

Yes, even the common issues on these AMD's official driver like freezing is gone with modded drivers.

About these tweaks, I recommend using these modded driver rather than tweak it yourself, because tweaking those drivers will consume a lot of time, and there's uncountable risks if you tweak it manually.

Has the radeonsoftware.exe crash been fixed in this? I know a lot of people suffering fromt hat issue (Software would stop working and reset itself while in background, sometimes you'd have 2 symbols in your taskbar for that reason)

 

It's fixed for some users.

 

Those horrible things happened to me just now, like doing +50 on memclock. Currently using official 21.4.1, lemme check my self.

 

Umm, there's new version 21.5.1, will be uploaded later. It's better than 21.4.1 anyway.

 

NimeZ 21.5.1 released, you can check google drive folder. CCC2_installer dependencies still same from 21.4.1, you can reuse it.

 

Quick note, extended overclock still doesn't work, hopefully AMD or MSI Afterburner can fix this

 

try sapphire trixx 4.8.2. Btw, since 21.4.1 they breaks overlocking capability for older GCN laptops especially me using 8790M

 

Dang, that was fast. Anyway the driver works as intended. No more hang+BSOD while increasing memory clock. I'll gladly update to 21.5.1 right now!

 

This didn't worked for you on 21.4.1, right?I might try it out, I remember using this exact same version for my old HD 7750 xd

 

They fixed it on 21.5.1, trixx 6.5.0 not working but trixx 4.8 perfecly working without problem. At least better than previous driver, i can't overlock my 8790m with any third party apps including trixx 4.8 on version 21.4.1. And seems 21.5.1 more stable in games and some rendering applications.

 

Does this work on the HD 7650m?

 

Sorry mate, 7650M is non-GCN card. So isn't supported.
