GCN package has been once again updated, and once again there is not even a little info of what was changed/tweaked/fixed etc.
Changelogs are must have.

 

Since GCN driver are based on WU driver, so rest of changelog are minimal compared to regular amd driver.

I have an r9 fury too. Do you see these gains of using drivers 21.Q2.1 on other games/programs in comparison to the 22.8.1 or 22.10.1? Also, I can not find driver 21.Q2.1

Alright, tried the latest 22.10.1 for Polaris (RX 590), and literally every humanly-possible combo (22.10.1 driver/kernel versions + every dependencies versions in the package) is freezing and crashing the driver as soon as I run Radeon settings.

I'm rolling with NimeZ for a long time now, and I (well, kinda) know what I'm doing, including proper cleanup before each setup...

Rolling back to 22.9.2 with V5.0 for now. Don't know what the issue is.

 

I don't know your os condition, you can do reinstall your os later and see if the problem persists or not

 

Getting a new laptop with 5980HX / 6800M 12GB, no mux, any benefit for installing NimeZ over AMD release drivers?

 

If using Windows 11, RSR and Relive can be functionable by using Multi Adapter mode

Also, you can adjust some tweaks to maintain performance consistency like Frame Buffer Compression (Toggle, Compression Ratio and Support Level), Stutter Mode, GPU Preemption, and GPU Buffer Queue Extension

 

so far only in rdr2 and on the volcano, I also installed some kind of driver and crossfire worked in rdr2, but I can’t find it now, in forza it also pops up a message that this is an old driver, but it starts up and the fps is no worse than on 22.8.1. In GTA 5, 22.8.1 seemed better to me. If you need 21.Q2.1, I can send the file loader to the mail or to which thread.

Multi Adapter is an exclusive Windows 11 feature.

For Framebuffer Compression, you can try to tweak Compression Ratio and Support Level, starting with Level 3 for both compression ratio and support level, if you need to stabilize framerate consistency

 

I was thinking, could it be Windows 11 H2 update?
Besides screwing up my Asus Aura set up (LED control), seems like every driver/dependencies I try to install from Nimez is crashing hard.

Reverted back to official 22.5.1 and works flawlessly. I'll wait a while to see if anything's changed with Nimez, can't go this route right now it seems.
