For those who tried to install UI and failed, try installing 7z Archive first.

 

I tried 3DMark and it's stuck at Initializing ... discord cannot connect anymore at servers, being stuck at RTC Connect.

These new drivers are interesting tho

 

GCN HotFix will released asap, i got report by test user from amd a series laptop (X555DG, x550ze, g40/z40, e5-552, X454YA) crashed when playing dx9 games like csgo and dota 2.

And, i will try these new release of THIS driver for base porting released by amd last month.

Hey guys, having trouble installing 21.7.1 latest drivers on my R9 285. I downloaded the GCN versions (and 21.71 dependencies labeled for GCN). Since the 285 is considered legacy, what should I be getting?

 

did you try editing HDM freq in ur gpu bios?

 

The hotfix for GCN still in working, i forgot to porting some libraries from older driver.

Fixed! GCN Dependencies labeled for 21.71 work as expected now. I kept thinking I made a mistake when the settings was setting there was a conflict lol.

DisableRealtimeMonitoring problem. Because we have already turned off Window Defender.

 

That because you have already disabled windows defender. Disable windows defender during installing driver is effective because reducing installation time.

 

Quick update for GCN users, the Discord bug is fixed, RTC Connecting bug dissapeared and it has normal CPU usage now.
Going to test TimeSpy as it didn't worked yesterday.

 

About Fury Edition - Looks like its something else is blocking HBM overclock. No change in Superpos EX and seemingly negative scaling on medium. 'Vanishing of Ethan Carter Redux' doesn't crash either when yeeting max HBM clock at it. Only difference is that Superposition cannot detect videocard clock speed now. ;D

 

It's hard to access old ADL library through newer kernel, so this is far the best i can

 

Yes I did tried that before and it's the same..no changes.....actually the current bios that I am using is also modded by me it's a bit higher clock Frequency and Voltage (1070Mhz),fan control is adjusted,board power limit is 310W....etc...but HBM OC simply not working no matter what you do after 16.12.2. drivers just can't be applied even if you changed in your bios......I mean yeah it will be registered as higher memory clock in Gpu-z or some other tests but you can't see any benefit from that.....

27.20.22017.1004 is the new or not?

The Driver kernel base use 21.Q1.2 April Release "27.20.14540.4003", but with mixed newer libraries.
Driver kernel base is the main driver to work with gpu. I can use newer kernel like Release 21.4.1/21.4.2/21.5.1/21.5.2, but these version breaks gpu overclocking in some models.
You still get latest graphics API features even with that release "27.20.14540.4003"
