    Hi

I'm thinking on buying an AMD 64 + Motherboard.. but i wanna save some money!

    So

What's the best AMD64 for overclock (knowing that i have a watercooling kit)

And a good cheap motherboard for AMD64 With DDR SLOTS and AGP slot.

Note that i have an AMD AthlonXP 2400+ @ 2800+, i want a upgrade that is worth it!
And.. will i be making a smart move on upgrading to AMD64 right now with a low budget?

Thanks in advance for the replies

your probably best bet would be the A643200+ or the A64 3500+.

Ive been checking the 64s out, and i see the 9xx sockets and the 7xx sockets, i cant quite remember the right numbers

I presume 9xx are the better ones right?

Is it wise to make a change to 64bits now? Since windows 64bit is yet to be fully compatible with.. Everything, and vista still in the horizon?

939 is better and yes get it now you will see quite a big difference from what you have now and there is a 64bit version of windows xp and it really doesnt give any boost in performence over the 32bit version.

You got to be joking,MS 64bit is alot faster

    EXP.

    burning a DVD
    XP
    15 min encoding
    15 to burn
    XP64bit
    7 min encoding
    10 min to burn
To me that's a big diff
