    Every PUBG performance tweak guide I see there's a section with NVIDIA specific tweaks that allegedly improve performance quite a bit (Threaded Optimization, etc).

    Are there any AMD specific tweaks out there that help improve the performance of the game?

    Thanks!

    I have not seen 1 mate, getting another 8gb ram and overclocking cpu as well as getting the game onto an SSD drive is a game changer

    Put textures at medium, low textures seems to run worse.

    Pre-polaris might see an increase in FPS by limiting tessellation to 8x or 4x though I haven't tried that on UE4 games.

    32GB of RAM at 3000MHz on a 4GHz CPU or buy NVIDIA

    The game is EARLY ACCESS, if you find any ''tweaks'' in the next update there will be no more tweaks...

    I used to have stuttering, but disabling tesselation manually on the Radeon Settings improved performance a lot.

    It's UE4, it's gonna run like **** on AMD cards anyway - Ive noticed UE4 games tend not to utilise AMD GPUs very effectively.

    When I used to play Fractured Space, my Friend with a 770 could play the game on Ultra settings and maintain ~80fps yet, when I had a 285 (which is about the same in power, if not more so) couldn't get more than 60fps on ultra, and generally had to play on medium/high and on my Fury, I'd only get upto 90fps on Ultra.

    All I can really suggest is limit any pixel effect, so shadows and post processing. Textures shouldn't make much difference on AMD cards.

    PUBG is very demanding on vram atm so if you have less than 8GB vram don't use ultra graphics.
    Mix between high and medium

    Unreal 4 games do use the GPU to great effect my 290 is always at 100% playing PUBG and squad.

    It's the AMD CPU's that have been an issue not the GPUs don't mix them up.

    I don't know if its an AMD issue or not but, the game itself has a pretty good avg/peak frame rate, but the thing that bothers me is the random frame stalling/skipping. It happens too frequently to let it pass.

    For Fiji 4GB
    -useallavailablecores -malloc=system -force-driver-type-warp -sm6 -dx11mt -pthreads 12 -maxvram=4300
    or
    -useallavailablecores -malloc=system -force-driver-type-warp -sm5.1 -dx11mt -pthreads 16 -maxvram=4072

    -pthreads 16 for ZEN 8/16 if 4/8 then -pthreads 8

    What OnnA said, with manually dialing the Tessellation Factor to 6X from AMD Radeon Settings should help you make some gains.

    A lil confused as to what I should use OnnA, I have a ryzen 1700x and rx580 8gb with 16 gb of ram. What do you recommend? Also why do you have sm6 and sm5.1

    for your system:

    -useallavailablecores -malloc=system -force-driver-type-warp -sm5.1 -dx11mt -pthreads 12 -maxvram=8192
    or little lower Q:
    -useallavailablecores -malloc=system -force-driver-type-warp -sm4.1 -dx11mt -pthreads 12 -maxvram=8192

    Try, test and share :D

    Here:
    -useallavailablecores -malloc=system -force-driver-type-warp -sm4.1 -dx11mt -pthreads 8 -maxvram=2100

    Also:
    2GB = -maxvram=2100
    3GB = -maxvram=3200
    4GB = -maxvram=4200

    -maxvram is a good and handy command, it directs API towards specific VRAM usage !
    -force-driver-type-warp is a great command also, because it directs Game to use Windows Warp specs.

    It prevents for generates Low at 0.1 and 0.01 <30FPS sometimes in some benchmarks.... (FO4 is a good example)

    Hi guys, glad to see some AMD support for PUBG :)

    Any idea what my optimal launchoptions would be? i5-6500 | Sapphire R9 Fury 4gb (11247-03-40G) and 16GB RAM. Also playing on 1440p / 144hz monitor (Asus mg279q).
    Much appreciated!
