Next month's headline: "AMD users banned from Destiny 2 for using default driver installation."

    Looks good, should be usefull.

I dont care if they copied nvidia on this one or not(seems to be a logic way to improve interface, nvidia or not)

Whatever you changes they do, i hope they dont start off something as awfull as nvidia mandatory login, that thing sucks.

Fingers crossed it's not just a cosmetic update.

Well I have AMD since forever, they always are improved dramatically every last driver of the year, BUT, I am not so happy with relive. It was not a big step IMO. Let's hope it is time to see everything polished.

Let's hope it will be better then what we have now , becouse i for one can't stay on latest driver , becouse Rise of the tombraider crashes 1 min ingame , and i have problems OC'ing using afterburner , everytime i restart my pc i have to start afterburner and apply the profile my self , or stuff wont work right, and driver will crash underload

And I thought only Creative is bad in naming things. This is not too far from "Creative Extreme-Fidelity Extreme Fatality Pro Gamer Series" anymore xD.

Yeah I think AMD defers to the DirectX recommended practices so if a game (EDIT: Or software in general.) allows for adjusting VSync that will override the driver settings, similar to triple buffering.
Enhanced sync, fast-sync and free-sync and other techniques for manipulating VSync and it's traditional downsides could really benefit from the driver taking control over the software though, not every game allows for adjusting some of these settings so the defaults can vary from one title to another and not every game allows other software to interfere with and override these settings either.

From a user on the AMD subreddit, it had me laughing, I just had to repost:

I agree the naming is getting a bit out of control. :D

Not much into OSD and FPS counting, etc, but it does look good and aesthetically ReLive is much nicer to use than NVidia experience or control panel. What I'm really hoping from a driver standpoint is that they allow for next year's AM4 Ryzen APUs to work in mGPU with this Vega 56 I have. That would be really significant.

That's pretty nice. GeForce Experience is ugly. If only AMD would make good GPUs.

No they didn't copy Nvidia on this one.
In fact Nvidia is still in old school with their driver presentation, the same AMD had before crimson basically.
Just some old interface (Nvidia), which isn't bad perse though, but does feel old... But now for some time crimson which looks much more modern looking & faster loading... and with this newest update you have as you read? an osd screen in game which is nice so you don't have to use some other program for showing your fps/gpu and cpu usage and so on... if you like that (which is just handy if you like to fine tune/overclock your card).
