    If i have issues, i will used DDU. But until then, there is no point. Hadn't used it for a while already, actually.

    I had to use DDU this time around because the TLoU driver and 23.4.1 no longer allowed me to use ReLive from drivers. Streaming just wouldn't start

    Check if you have windows folder access lock (aka security feature that breaks ReLive). And remove it.
    Otherwise ReLive don't have access to folder it supposed to write into.

    It's your choice if you feel adventurous. Sometimes the incorrect work of the driver is not so obvious and it's difficult to be noticed. That's why I play safe. :p

    Driver 22.4.1 - silent update
    upload_2023-4-6_17-2-16.png

    Will unpack and compare file by file hashes
    U0390115 --> U0390319

    UPD:Again, basically every .dll was touched? Maybe embedded signature difference (like compilation time?)
    Yup seems like few small byte changes, and again "Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher" segment inserted into libraries... Same thing that was with 23.3.1, basically

    Oh wow, thanks for catching that! Waiting for your update, might be a hotfix?

    Unlikely. Seems like just another case of some certificate being embedded in libraries.

    Ok, yeah, ReLive streaming is broken. Can't start a stream. DDU'd also, still nothing.

    Can confirm stream doesn't start...

    Try doing this:
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AMD\DVR\LOG]
    "log_enabled"=dword:00000001
    "log_minpriority"=dword:00000000

    Then reboot, try to start stream again and look into "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\AMD\CN" folder for logs that can clarify situation.
    P.S. i am both lazy and have tasks so cannot reboot PC right now.

    The new U0390319.inf added some DeviceID such as PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_164E&REV_CB.

    I guess this for update driver for 7800X3D.

    updated from 23.3.1 and I lost the ability to tune the GPU, even in afterburner I can't tune anything even the fan curve, I have one of those chinese RX6600Ms for desktop

    downgraded to 23.3.2 and still had the same problem, only going back to 23.3.1 fixed it

    I think wattman (performance tuning) was always disabled on laptop GPUs. Probably they updated the database to blacklist that GPU. I'm surprised that a laptop GPU even works at all in a desktop PC lol.

    are there any other ways to undervolt my gpu without wattman? I lose the ability to control the fan curve in MSI afterburner as well btw

    Dang that sounds exhausting... been updating both of my RX 6000 machines through the auto-update feature for a long time now and zero problems. I used to DDU between monthly version updates (where the second decimal changes) but then I realized why not just go until I have an issue and I haven't had an issue since I decided to change that habit. I think they improved their auto-install process significantly somewhere around 22.7.1 and now everyone I know with Radeon cards have no issues just using the in driver update. Hopefully you (and everyone else with issues) can achieve, at some point, the amazingly smooth and effortless experience AMD has been giving me for so long now.

    RDR2 has stability issues with this driver. It's some kind of memory leak I guess.

    While on Vulkan the game starts with ~5gb of VRAM usage and continuously rises till all available VRAM (12gb) is allocated and the game crashes. This is reproducable.
    VK_KHR_map_memory2
    VK_EXT_descriptor_buffer
    VK_EXT_mesh_shader
    VK_EXT_device_fault
    VK_EXT_pipeline_library_group_handles
    VK_EXT_shader_module_identifier
    VK_EXT_extended_dynamic_state3
    VK_EXT_vertex_input_dynamic_state
    VK_EXT_image_sliced_view_of_3d

    With DX12 on the other hand VRAM Usage is around 4.5gb and stays there.

    I used the Adrenalin bug report to let AMD know about it.

    23.3.1 has no problems what so ever.

    Speaking of bugs. All game specific OC settings in Wattman were gone after installing 23.4.1 over 23.3.2. I hate it when this happens and have to redo it all..

    Edit: Ok something is broken with this new version of vulkan. Cemu with vulkan has problems like lags and sound hiccups.

    Just save global settings profile? (Not just OC profile)
    Or it doesn't work like that?

    is VRAM frequency supposed to be maxed out all the time? It's been like this since I got my 6700 except on a few past drivers.

    I'm using a costum global setting, mainly undervolted and stock clocks. Then OC profiles per game. I would love that a driver update wont delete all those settings. Some updates wont delete settings while 23.3.2 to 23.4.1 did.
