As a file version just Vulkan looks newer. But UMD modules are updated for sure even being the same version. And the difference is not just because of a new signature. At least they should contain the optimizations for the game.


Unfortunately, I still get WattMan reset on every boot with Insider builds (BETA, DEV, and CANARY).

 

Here's the comparison between the 23.9.1 and Lies of P drivers on my PC.

 

Was wondering why there no topic yet, game runs great so far 160-180 fps without using FSR2 at 3840x1600 at best graphic settings
HDR looking great altho the game lacks proper HDR calibration settings, i prefer to set brightness based on nits and paper white as well including black point level for proper color accuracy and bright and dark highlights.

No hags over here, not sure if it ever come i would imagine AMD also would have benefits from hags if turned on but i could be wrong.

 

Installed this driver on my laptop... and only updated dGPU. iGPU is still on 23.9.1. Well, what can go wrong?



Included Radeon Settings does not show the iGPU. Hurr.

 

Speaking of lies of P steam just added tonemaping support for screenshots by looks of in in steam beta, i wonder when AMD adds tonemaping support for HDR recording in AMD relive.
HDR is procreating awesome, but that also means i cannot record lies of P gameplay without disabling HDR.

 

Had a very nice hard driver crash while streaming on Netflix. The video was playing on my external 4K panel, so it was running off the dGPU with the new driver, and... I lost my panel, even after reboots. I had to run the Uninstaller, and reinstall 23.9.1 fresh to recover. Ooof.

 

I think the same thing happened to me this morning after installing the new driver. I was just watching a YouTube video and got a hard crash. I thought it was either a ram issue or an instability problem with the Canary build of Windows I'm on, but I checked the error logs and I had an issue there.

 

This first release of 23.20 for "full" gpu dont have support for polaris, vega, igpu vega. I hope amd will readd this support on the futur. Same issue than you on my laptop.

 

A friend with a 6800 non XT installed this driver and said performance would be crippled when running MSI Afterburner, lol. So he went back to 23.9.1.

 

Branch 23.20 has not been fully tested for older cards. When it is stable enough, support for older cards will be added. Unless something unexpected happen.

 

Can you give us an update on when we will see the Hypr-RX in the 6000 series?

 

I tried the new driver on the first restart the monitor wouldn't open and I had to restart after that no problem,the software works normally and I didn't see any loss or upgraded performance in Starfield,Ratchet & Clank - Rift Apart,Forza Horizon 5 and F1 2022.

 

does not work on Ryzen 7 3800X

 

Is anyone able to validate the 3DMark result with this driver? Is there a WHQL requirement for the validation? Because this driver has no WHQL logo.

Guidelines
Drivers must meet the following conditions before being considered for approval:

• Only a vendor's official, public and production quality driver releases will be considered.
• The driver must be WHQL-certified for all supported graphics chipsets.
• The driver package must be publicly available for download from the vendor's website before the approval will be published.
• OEM specific drivers based on an approved reference driver can be approved if they fulfil the guidelines.
• We aim to process driver approval requests within seven working days.

The last one approved is 23.9.1. I'm able to cheat dxdiag.exe but not 3DMark.



Has anyone tried the driver with online games that use Easy Anti-Cheat protection?

I have a validated result with 23.9.1 (even without Radeon ID because 23.9.1 is approved). I asked for the 23.20.11.01 driver.

 

I'm using your drivers and I also have validated 3DMark Results.

 

installed this just now
6900xt, win10 22h2

it no longer allows me to turn ReBar on as it says it's not supported.
multiple reinstalls and still the same.
all other drivers have allowed me to turn it on/off.
