Yeah I exaggerated that there is no hw scheduler. The warp scheduler was never removed. I was talking about that pre-sorting that they are doing in the drivers nowadays. The gigathread scheduler was a beast but yeah it was a hot mess :) They way they do it now is more efficient especially for simple tasks such as gaming.

That's the part about the scheduler here, brand new and funky fresh from HWUB :

Lol AirLink has been just fine so has link. Must be your setup because mines worked every day for over a year and I have used every driver update as they came

Perhaps bad quality doesnt bother you at all :) What bitrate do you have ? 65 or 75 Mbps ? You see here is the problem a lot of people dont notice it.

Try AMD Driver 22.2.3 and put bitrate with oculus tools at 300 Mbps and add a reg key for HVEC then disable it and you will get H264 with 500 Mbps. If you see that you will no longer want to play with your current setup and settings and either you will stay with that old driver until AMD fixes it or you will buy an nvidia card.

There is nothing wrong with my setup 5800X3D with 32GB and 6800XT Red Devil on fresh Windows 11 64 bit install. But like I've said above if it doesnt bother you and you actually dont know how good can it look then its fine !

Try these settings with the driver I've told you. You will be shocked how high the quality can be.

P.S. if you need help with anything I'll gladly explain further or help.

  7. Drivers after 22.2.3 are confirmed to have a 100Mbps bitrate limit. VD and ALVR seem to run into limits in a different manner but Link and Air Link are for sure bitrate limited.

Had a couple crashes and asphalt 9 really seemed to not like it but I'm sticking to this 23.1.2 for the minute

Seems like AMD changed the power tables with 23.1.2, no longer capping at 400w total board with my Nitro+. Averaging max 360w with peaks to 380w but never capping at 400w anymore. 0% power level and 15% power level are seemingly the same as well no change in max between the two. Reverted to 23.1.1 and the issue remained, wiped PC fully and reinstalled 23.1.1 and the issue remains. Was hitting 30,500 timespy graphics score hitting 400w total board power cap now I'm permanently stuck under 400w and score drop to 29,500~

I've been using 23.1.2 on my 5700 XT (via Amernime).

    Nothing improved, nothing degraded.

But! The DXNAVI tweak for improving DX10/11 performance on pre-RDNA2 no longer works on this branch: 22.40 drivers. If I manually tweak the dll files in Regedit, the driver self uninstals, lol.

So for people wanting new drivers: give it a shot from NimeZ
For people liking the DXNAVI improvements: stick to 22.11.2 for now.

This is a good example of what happens when a YT content creator prioritizes smoking weed above all else

Since I did Windows Update 25284 -> 25290 (DEV channel), I get the "Default Radeon WattMan settings have been restored due to an unexpected system failure." warning EVERY time when I reboot/shutdown the computer normally. I have to apply my overclock profile every time.

Hey at least you identified the issue and now know how to fix it.

Applying the clock profile every time manually doesn't sound like a fix to me.;)

Of course, I have switched off the "Fast boot" option of Windows. Adrenalin 23.1.1. is affected as well.
