I read about it on twitter.
This was given to the media to do tests on the game. Or something along the lines.
    Now, released to the public.

I just switched the in-game overlay off and the overlay is still there (it looks like with nonrefreshing data):

That's the metrics overlay that you enable/disable with CTRL+SHIFT+O or from the performance tab:
    upload_2023-3-29_21-25-29.png

In-game overlay is...just adrenaline software UI that you can bring up in-game without alt-tabbing. Default key is ALT+R if you have in-game overlay enabled.

I know very well both places for the overlay. It's not something that I do for the first time now this way. The new driver has a bug with switching on and off the overlay.

It happened only once. Now I can't reproduce it.

Oh, I though you meant the metrics overlay because it was on screen. Ignore my post

Yeah, I meant it. But usually, it disappears when I switch the option from my screenshot off. Both options should be on to display the overlay. Now it didn't disappear once for some weird reason.

Its funny some games are just fine with HDR recording even when enabled in game via amd relive but some do not, but whats more funny is that HDR recording works by recording it in SDR while screenshots look faded cos of HDR via AMD relive, come on AMD gimme HDR recording and screenshots, valve should probably also add screenshot support for HDR.
    Anyone noticed this bug ?

edit: 3 gpu driver / game crashes so far first it freezes then it blackscreens and resets gpu driver usually within 5/10 seconds of it freezing.

no issues so far in other games.

I tested this driver, had some crashes while compiling shaders, but after that, game works just fine, i have it limited to 60FPS so i can't test if it performs better..

BTW, i had to put the Pagefile in a SSD with 405GB free (removed the Pagefile from the C: SSD because i have like 20GB free), memory usage reachs 28GB of VM (Pagefile in auto-size mode, only in that SSD) and 20GB of RAM (out of 32GB of RAM available) just to compile shaders without crashes, from 0-30% is very slow, but it's very fast between 30-100%

The game is just programed by monkeys.
No excuse on how it performs.

This video made me LOL. This port looks like it was rushed and needed more time to be polished...

Reminds of of what if seen in world of warcraft with nvidia gpu's i wonder if they fixed those issues yet, but in this case its very entertaining.

My 5500xt downclocks to <500Mhz and stays there until I force apply proper clocks through the panel again, resetting wattman does nothing and alt tabbing or closing the game and reopening makes it downclock again. Tried DDU, pro drivers, etc

Well mine also crashed fast then lasted a tad longer. I tried turning the Max Freq from 2950 to 2550 and never crashed since.

I had a lot of crashes today when trying to figure out if game would handle a undervolt, it does not like any overclock at all i found out then started crashing even after stock, i just DDU'd and reinstalled then see my card clocking more or less 3,3 ghz during cutscenes on stock
