I did upon initial restart after it happened, it was a video card driver crash.

Very weird issue, first I've ever seen of this type of crash.

 

Correct,
Disabling the driver causes the Basic Display Driver to take affect anyway, so there wasn't much point to fully removing the driver in this mechanism.

 

Does this result in the bug report tool popping up? Can you show us where other people are experiencing this?

The bug report tool pops up yes. And i just saw a youtube video regarding this issue. The guy clearly explains in his video about whats happening. A quick google search showed me some results of people experiencing this too.

Happened to me couple of times, I'm not sure but I use Switch or a Splitter, might cause this issue. anyway I ordered HDFURY 8K Vrroom to fix all my issues and having 3 HDMI connectors that I can use for my TV and Projector without worry of issues

I only have a single 1920x1080 monitor connected via HDMI.... kinda doubt that is causing an issue in my case seeing as this is my first encounter of this crash type since having this particular video card since about beginning of 2017 I think was when I got it.

 

I assumed (correctly, it seems) that they were talking about continuous TDRs.

 

Can you tell us which display and connection method you're using?

 

Im using hdmi and the display is a 75hz freesync 1080p monitor.
