Why you need RSR with a 6900xt? I was getting great performance on my 3440x1440 with my 6800xt!

It works fine. I'm at 32:9 without issue. You just may have to setup some custom resolutions if you don't have aspect ratio correct ones showing up by default. Which isn't any GPU drivers fault. Resolutions stuff like that kinda comes down to your monitor and windows.

Man, my first UW monitor was an Acer XR341CK, being first gen Freesync, it does 3440x1440 75Hz, but it looks great (it's on my 2nd rig, watching WS movies with VLC, and cropped to fit the entire screen is just glorious.

Also worth grabbing the UltraWidify add-on/extension on Firefox and Chrome

It's just me or 1440p RSR at 4K look better then 1800p RSR at 4K. I went back to minimal install since I don't OC, don't use Relive, don't AMD web browser, etc.

Hopefully AMD brings RSR to minimal install since users like myself don't OC, etc.

Plenty of games cant run 4k/60fps on a 6900xt if you max out the eye candy

Just tried F12021 with RSR.. reduced res to 1080 and let it upscale to 1440 (my native res) and I gained almost 90 - 100 fps. and it doesn't look bad at all! Quite playable with certain textures a little blurry but overall quite impressive!

Tried it on DCS and i saw worse performance to be honest, but that game is a bit of a mess for its mixture of old and new coding.

Wait how does it work, do you have to select a lower resolution in game?

Yes, and enable RSR in the drivers for the game.

Yes. You enable RSR in the drivers and in the game options menu you select a lower resolution. The drivers will upscale that lower resolution to your monitors native resolution.

Which problem? This is standard behavior since first Adrenalin release and I'm using overlay on a desktop

You can enable/disable perf overlay by hotkey if you want - default "Ctrl+Shift+O"

My guess would be it can occur when VRAM changes clocks. There is a chance for it to disappear by increasing the vertical blanking timing in CRU while maintaining dynamic VRAM clocking. The less ideal workaround would be to decrease that timing value instead so the VRAM doesn't clock down anymore at all, also preventing that issue, but wasting more power when idle.
I already had that issue with an RX 580...

Yes, e.g. try ~105 or ~40. Emergency recovery key in CRU's driver restart utility is F8, just in case. But it should be safe.
