    Simple have MPO enabled
    Have flip model optimisations on
Have many apps running like firefox or anything else you would
    Starts whatsapp video call
    Move the window like crazy
Watch seeing a blackscreen occur either within 2 minutes or 1 to 3 hours.
22.7.1 can reproduce it under 2 minuts with MPO enabled, its not that hard.

Also are there any steps at all when a game is litterally just freezing the entire system?
It seems to only happen after couple of days as if its shader cache related then out of random it starts happening every 2 hours. consistently until you go back to old driver where shader cache resets and after it builds up again it starts all over again.

Not necessarily. Linux's drivers are pretty drastically different, where it might utilize your hardware differently enough that whatever was causing the crash might not be triggered. Though if your CPU is the problem then it might actually highlight your problem faster than Windows, since Linux drivers tend to use more CPU instructions and more cores.
Linux also tends to recover better from hardware-caused stability issues, so what might cause Windows to fail might just be a small glitch in Linux.

Doesn't hurt to try, but all I'm saying is if it doesn't crash, that isn't necessarily proving anything. I'd recommend you try memtest86+ and have it use all of your CPU cores. That's always been a great tool for me to test OC stability since you don't risk corrupting anything. Even if you didn't overclock your RAM, it can still become unstable just from pushing your CPU too hard.

this very weird, look the power and memory clock usage, doing nothing
memory clock doing basic stuff get full clock just basic stuff, just navigate
22.q4 stay in 300mhz, the old drivers doing the same, this happening with 22.11.2

Video playback during picture in picture now disengages freesync now but only on primary monitor not secondary by looks of it, probably done as bandaid fix, which is not a real fix but better then nothing i guess

    edit: this is with firefox.

What do you mean turn on flip model optimization ?
Isn't that turned on by default and you have to turn it off by going to the game file -> properties -> compatibility tab-> disable Fullscreen optimizations ?
Or is it a windows 11 exclusive feature that doesn't exist in windows 10?

    Try reinstall driver cleanly again.
I had same problem for some reason despite clean driver install (it was first install). Maybe some software conflict? Power consumption also takes a hit.
At moment of trigger (?) i got driver crash while watching Twitch and streaming in Discord? Couldn't repeat for whole night of attempting.
Was fixed after second clean installation for me.
Left straight 0 line on memory freq is VRAM in power off state at idle.
Then i wake it up with game, then idle state without power off

Yeah, there is additional stuff in Windows settings, that allows to unlock FPS even in non-fullscreen games. Especially noticable at BDO, as you was forced to play fullscreen before to unlock FPS (on Win 10).
But disabling it actually doesn't do crap. As BDO still will be able to run with unlocked FPS at non-fullscreeen mode

Windows 11 22h2 has flip model optimisations that you can turn on for old games in advanced graphics except it does a lot more then engage for old games it engages in apps as well
If its on it can litterally blackscreen under 2 minutes on some drivers while if its off it takes 1 to 3 hours usually a bit longer.

This is pretty sad honestly, taking the name just for himself when it could be used even now. I understand that its his legacy, he made it back then, but why not let them use the name to show how good it was before?

Also, will you update the WHQL AAF :p?

Im starting to think system freezes are shader cache related cos if seen flickering in wow on interface elements and also in 1 specific area late in the campaign to avoid spoilers i wont mention where.

Its very rare tho, but the day i had system freeze i also saw flickering interface element altho its not as insane as i used to have in the past on my gtx 1080, back then clearing shader cache fixed it, i think shader cache corrupts over time and when it loads in this shader cache it becomes unstable perhaps, probably the result of loading in shader cache causing this system freeze cos the shader cache is corrupted

Dang almost forgot about that AAF project, sadly I have tight work shift right now, so can't decide when I will update the AAF

Been using the DX11 optimizations on 5700 XT ever since they showed up in NimeZ. Tremendous performance gains all around. Zero issues.

For some reason video decode is showing usage but i have no videos playing i think there is a bug with a video always playing in the background even if closing browser

edit: im still hoping for an easy fix like hardware issue even bad psu but if never had driver crashes in wow or system freezes until around september october and if been playing a lot more since last mythic season but it was much more rare to get gpu driver crash while on newer drivers it rarely crashes instead it freezes when gpu driver crashes the game does not crash it keeps running so it could cause the gpu driver to crash again a 2e time upon recovery in theory which is what i think is causing system freezes.

edit: gonna try record the wow flickering link it later altho it may contain spoilers if anyone ever had wow flickering on Nvidia gpu or seen it, i think it happens currently for AMD as well but its far less extreme, it was a pain on my gtx 1080 back at shadowlands launch

edit: battle.net launcher is doing videoplayback in background even tho i never clicked a video sometimes it may be the source of my system freezes or gpu crashes maybe even micro freezes

    What ?

There was this one guy on the /r/amd subreddit who constantly complained about whatsapp for desktop messing up. Literally nobody else mentioned any issues with the app, for this one person, it was giving them hell. I think they had a 5950X + 6900xt in a custom loop but now I can't find them.

We all complain, no need to defend AMD let them sort it out and fix it and actually list the issues that are with the drivers instead of chasing symptoms and ignoring what is broken.
not even 22.5.1 is stable currently yet they recommend it a half year old driver that was released late april i believe if i remember correctly.

Please don't tell me that you have Variable Refresh enabled in Windows Graphic Settings? That's a bug fest and loves to enable when I watch videos. There's no reason to have this enabled. None.

any driver beyond 22.5.1 whql craps the anisotropic filtering (16x) if set globally on control panel software.
games with dx11 renderer are affected (popular answer is that only dx9/10 games are supported by the software, BS!)
I own a 6600xt, and would like the optimizations without bugs, hope more people recognize this.
Thanks macer for custom 22.5.1 drivers.

Lemme look cos i remember turning that off i used to always have it off but i think it does the same as what freesync premium does so i turned it off for good

lol its on i guess it turned it self back on, or more likely i forgot cos i did do a clean install to old windows 11 build to verify if my system freezes where related to that, kinda wanna go back to 22h2 now least verify my psu is not the problem since im testing another psu that 100w stronger then my new one but its only gold rated psu
