I don't know about the latest versions.
But in the older ones, after installing this there are a bunch of amernime certificates in the windows certificate store.

22.9.1 and above now uses Organic WHQL Implementation

If the WHQL Logo is No, you still able to play most games with tough anti-cheats

Well, this driver brought back the one bug I had with 22.5.1 which is mouse stuttering on Twitter (for example) when videos are playing - that wasn't a thing in 22.10.1. It seemed to me that the black screens when browsing the Internet/using a Chromium app were fixed for the first couple days, but unfortunately I just got one again.

All smooth otherwise, but the stuttering is annoying.

...so it does work? I still don't understand why anyone would want VFR in recording since it can be such a nuisance to work with.

I'm not suggesting they're malicious, and I think enabling older GPUs is great from an end user perspective (though I cannot imagine this being particularly stable or well tested), but some of the features of these custom driver packs put me off, though I'm guessing they can be toggled.

    Asked and answered.

What do you want to tell me?
That he uses Symantec signed certificates now?
Which get installed into windows certificate store to make windows think the drivers are properly signed?
    Or how does this work?

You realize the security risk by installing third party certificates?

So I assume you don't understand how SSL certificate works.

And you think third party certificates like Symantec has security risks? Pathetic

I guess I don't need to explain furthermore, more than 1 year using Amernime without getting security issues, even better than XtremeG has.

If other people had security issues, it should not be pinned in this forums

No, I know all of them have risks, because No system is safe.

The only way to make you privacy safe, is stay away from internet and don't register yourself to civil administration.

Are you serious? That was a big thing years ago specifically with Symantec, and not even Google messed around when mitigating: https://www.thesslstore.com/blog/sy...-ssl-certificates-will-be-distrusted-tuesday/

That doesn't particularly affect this context though, but security concerns should start at why someone is installing a random closed-source driver.

    Nice Try

p.s. To be honest, I prefer distrust any modded drivers that cannot run online games, rather than amernime drivers.

Because, you won't find any modded drivers that can do run any online games that uses anti cheats. Thinking it just "bypass" anti cheats is dumb, it's useless if you don't find out how to make it secure like official ones

Can you tell us what your display setup is? I've observed this too, and have found that a single Asus display in my array causes my GPU VRAM clock to idle at approximately 50% on my 6900XT. Previously my GPU would idle at like 7-9 Watts / 20-24MHz, and after, it idles at 22-25 Watts / 908MHz. It doesn't idle at max, however. So I'm wondering if it's different to your case.

This is getting off topic for this thread. Move this to the modded driver thread instead.

Not really sure what you're alluding to here but from a UX & power/perf perspective regarding the Steam Deck (or mobile platforms in general), it certainly isn't lmao.

The GPU Idling/VRAM downclocking is kinda odd on 22.5.1 too.
    Dual Monitor setup:
    60hz; 144hz; Downclocks fine
    60hz; 120hz; Doesn't downlock, ~2000Mhz RAM Clock
    60hz; 100hz; Downclocks fine
    50hz; 100hz; Doesn't downlock, ~1000Mhz RAM Clock

Anytime the refresh rates are evenly divisible, there's an idle throttling issue.

True, this driver is the first in a long time to get it right on triples. I have triple 1440p for Sim racing and if I keep it at 144 it downclocks correctly. Any other refresh rate and it goes bonkers or doesn't downclock at all.
Still to this day though, no driver will allow me to click into the 4th monitor without the driver crashing and there goes my Eyefinity setup until I reboot.
I have sent this issue in for 2 years now and not a single recognition about it.

This ties into an intrinsic property of your displays known as Vertical Blank Interval or VBI for short. There's not much you can expect the driver to do with this on its own (behaviour occurs with all gfx vendors), though you can employ the use of Custom Resolutions in Adrenalin or CRU to circumvent high mclk at idle with a given display config.

Then why does the configuration with the higher overall refresh rate downclock fine?

I am using the 27" x MSI MPG ARTYMIS 273CQR 165Hz Display Curved
Plus 2 x AOC 24" 144Hz monitors curved. Happens when only main display is connected or all 3 etc...
