I just wish their GPU drivers are stellar. I have an AMD 5700xt and with the new driver update, Adrenalin 20.5.1, I have run into a lot of DirectX11 related crashes in Final Fantasy 14. No other game gives me as much grief as this one with the new update.

I have 5700XT and 20.5.1 works great with Windows 10 v2004. However you need to upgrade windows first. Use DDU to wipe out the drivers and then install 20.5.1. If you have AMD CPU you need also to install again the chipset drivers.

I don't have that Windows update just yet, unfortunately. It's currently pending on my machine, in that I can't bring it down because it's unavailable just yet. Not sure if it's due to region or something else, manually checking Windows updates won't force it down. I have an AMD CPU, 3700x. Why would I need to install the chipset drivers again? Does the DDU wipe those too?

Shouldn't this story headline read, "AMD shipped a lot of GPUs, 533 Million GPUs Since 2013. Just not too many to Steam Hardware Survey participants..." ?

I don't own any consoles, and I'll admit that the percentage difference between Xbox vs. PlayStation surprises me.

They probably make barely any profit from console or low-mid end GPUs though. And that's the issue.

You can force new Windows update with microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
I had some weirdness with few machines, but nothing too bad.

AMD has right now the best marketing department in the industry.
This is talent: transform a "not so news" in headline news.
Intel did it in the core 2 duo era.
Let's just hope that they don't borrow other habits of the competition...
After all, good old Reznov said: "The flag may be different but the methods are the same."

Fun fact: biggest tire manufacturer in the world is...LEGO.
Still, on my car I prefer Dunlop...

I am not surprised. PS4 was outselling Xbone and same story continued with PS4 Pro over XboneX.

Same will occur with PS5 over X Series. People who have PS4 if they decide to upgrade will stick to PS for the exclusives. On X Series all the "exclusives" will be on PC also so no point for those having PC.

Im sure half of those are the Polaris cards. Market is flooded by 570/580's even today.
