Pre-ordered one 914usd cheapest one I could get (Norway).
Beware were you buy 3900x or 3950x, up to 100+/150+ USD difference.
Denmark has very low prices on the 3900x(not sure about the 3950x there yet),
it might be worth to import one yourself for some.

The article should have quotes around "available".. Th only place it is available in the US is from scalpers on ebay. There wasn't anywhere (that I could find) that was accepting pre-orders. I had price watches on all the sites I could and the few that popped up saying they had inventory was showing it out of stock before I could even get to the site. There are finally a few places online to buy 3900x but sadly only with a minimum of $50 markup over MSRP.
Not sure if they vastly underestimated demand or their yields just aren't good enough. Given they aren't actually hitting their rated boost and don't have overclocking headroom I'm guessing it is more the latter.
