Yeah cool story bro. But that's not the benchmark I'm looking for...

    "72 MiByte L3-Cache" = Mini Byte(?)

    "16-person processor"

    ?

Is this supposed to be some type of humor? o_O

Your benchmark is in another castle.

KiB/MiB/GiB/... those are standard units. We are just used to use KB/GB/... no jokes there.

Doesn't look like a coffee issue. Maybe a sleep issue. If an auto-translator is used, then that makes sense - Google translate isn't very "smart"

May be "a standard", but not the common("standard") way. Live and learn though

Is it just me or overclocking scores brings me less interest for the product?
I like to see real world numbers, with air cooling preferably.

    Oddly phrased question)

These may not be ideal leaks, but not much time left before reviews are out.

I can totally understand why these benchmarks aren't really all that interesting, but why would they bring less interest overall?

While I agree that they aren't that interesting, these overclocks are a good indication of how far the chips can be pushed.

So, if these procs need 1.77V and liquid nitrogen to get to 5.42ghz all core, we can safely assume that regular water cooling will probably not be enough to push it to 5ghz or even 4.7ghz, and that voltages may need to be pretty high when overclocking.

All in all, a very similar situation to Ryzen 2000 series, in terms of overclockability.

If PS5 actually uses Zen2 architecture, then it will certainly be a bottleneck in the future. But you can always upgrade the CPU later on, and AM4 will have up to 16 cores CPUs, so it's not like this platform will be a dead end at all.

Do bare in mind that this is a ES chip, final versions are mostly better.
Motherboard bios is most likely a beta bios.

A goal of 5ghz is a bit high, i have not been able to find any 5ghz oc of a Intel i9-9960X, the older i9-7960X could maybe reach it, but it would need a delid for sure.
Remember that leaks indicate that Ryzen 3000 is a bit faster per mhz, so it could be faster at same clock.

Would be odd if they changed it from the 8/16 Zen2 part. I'm very well aware that the platform supports higher CPUs(like the one we're here for heh). Of course I meant the 6-core ones, like I said.
If you've got money to burn, then sure you could but one of them.

The Ryzen 1800x also broke records on liquid nitrogen and clocked up to 5.36Ghz early on. However you realistically couldn't OC it past 4.1-4.2 Ghz on good air or water cooling. Im not sure im interested in OC scores from liquid nitrogen just some air cooled scores would suffice.
