As far as we can tell, AMD is saving their 3D V-Cache announcement for three Ryzen 7000 processors. The ‘V95, V9 and V8’ as posted by Greymon refer to 7950X3D, 7900X3D, and 7800X3D parts respectiv... AMD Ryzen 7950X3D, 7900X3D could see a CES 2023 release
What'd really intrigue me is something like a 7600G3D. The V-cache could explode the performance of the iGPU, and with RDNA and DDR5, this combination could possibly be the first legitimate entry level gaming chip for modern games. Valve has already proven how much potential there is with more channels and DDR5.
Im actually thinking if the base versions of the 7000 series got so much cache (almost as much as the 5800x3d), that the 3d versions of the 7000 series might not see any performance improvements over the base versions in most games.
I've actually heard the same from other people. It's why I'm not jumping on board until all the reviews for both AMD and Intels next generation come out. A couple of extra months won't hurt and this X99 setup is still very reliable.
