    These aren't very good benchmarks.

First thing I noticed was that the 2600X/2700X are using slower RAM speeds, which makes it a poor comparison against last gen, if not to purposely skew results. And as people pointed out, while the low resolution is good for some benchmarks, it's shitty as a real-world comparison.

I mean, these processors are impressive regardless, but if first-gen Ryzen has taught me anything, it's to wait for the eventual revision, if not simply wait out the rush and hype the with the cutting-edge early adopters, and the associated price premium.

It must really suck to be at Intel right now. Employees must be on edge. There could literally be massive layoffs soon.

AMD beat Intel at its own game with a fraction of the staff and R&D budget. If some people still don’t get why that’s a big deal...they’ve never seen history unfold before their eyes.

Some of us older gamers who were kids in the 90’s remember the rise and fall of companies.

It's the same everywhere you can go around the world... i mean: the web :)
I like G3D because review are maybe more objective than other place.
It is more attractive to surf on the hype of a product and grab people than say: "well, it is good... but it might be better" as Hilbert do when he feel to.
    This is a real review.

Not myself, dude, I'm projecting from the article to the origin country of the article. When you reach my level of projecting, you can do it fully externally.

Wccftech probably made an article about the same stuff. That place collects all the leaks (and fake leaks).

I longed after an MSX2/+ when we had the Amstrad 6128.
Seeing the same games on multiple platforms, C64/Speccy/CPC/MSX and then having the fun of defending your particular machine with your friends.

Easy, best games were on C64, others got bad clones which resembled them, but were different.

Ooooooh, this could start an off-topic war :)
Some of the best games were on C64, but some games were better on other platforms, such as the CPC, or even the MSX/2.
I'll open a thread in the forums if there isn't one already on "Nostalia for the 20th Century Computers" or something like that.

    edit : It is done.

If you cannot go on with your life at 2019, you should wait for zen2+/zen 3 that will get shipped with Xbox Scarlett to be more future proof. Not a smart year for upgrade, like 2020.

but on MSX you have all Konami's game (with the 1st metal gear, nemesis (gradius series on NES), castlevania :) ) but yes lot of excelent rpg... most in japanese.
C64 wasn't so popular here, CPC and Spectrum were massively sold at 2/3 of the C64's price, the real success from Commodore were the Amiga 500 (got a A2000 at this time and were starting to do real thing with computer with my massive 5"25 HDD of... 20 meg lol)

indeed sorry for off topic :)

More on topic there is a new wave of bioses with the R9 3900X support on "old" mother board that were marked as unable to use it (exemple: my asrock B450) and new simplified HDD / Raid that work.
