UGH, Lord of the Rings online = crash at "character selection" complete with a blast of audio garbage. I may do system restore back to 11.11b or I may do try a re install first. Don't much see the point in that with using driver sweeper, but, what the hey.

Please, more comments on BF3 performance. Any noticeable decrease in FPS?

Hey I found a way to get better performance on Arkham City and still have better tesselation than on normal setting.
So you open the launcher and set everything to maximum except physx, don't know how it works on hybrid but safe's safe. In CCC turn everything to application controlled, except Tesselation - set it to 64x (maximum setting), texture filtering to high and disable surface optimizations.
No more HUGE dips when a lot tesselated objects are on screen. A good example is in front of the church with the tesselated tree, bricks and ice on floor. Try and you'll see.

Do they support forcing of direct 3d vsync & tripple buffering per application? THEN the driver would rock and I can ditch Radeon Pro.

Hi, about Amd CrossFireX Mode , I know that AFR Friendly option is useful for forcing crossfire detection (the Alternate Frame Rendering mode), and Optimize 1x1 option is the same but “whit additional optimization for 1x1 resources”, my question is: what is a 1x1 resource???

also, a bit of ot, is there any plan for amd-ati version of PhysX? no? even in 7000 series?

You have to remove it using .msi located somewhere in Windows folder.

Yeah BF3 is a little underwhelming actually... Sometimes I get drops under 60 fps (rarely though), Performance is down I would say about 5%...

BF3 is unplayable at the moment due to maintenance, so I can't say anything about how these drivers are doing...

Deleted my RadeonPro Skyrim profile. Enabled alternate frame rending friendly CFX on the new Catalyst application profiles. No longer have the stuttering/flashing issue, but my FPS is worse than it was with 11.11. CrossfireX still isn't working I'm 100% sure.

there is some registry key which makes overscan 0% default.

Being a complete lazy bastard I'd like to know if anyone has tested BF3 with these and a single 6870? Opinions?

General concensus seems to be not to bother (using 11.11c at the mo).

AMD APP ( aka AVIVO ) is totally disabled with 12.1 preview in GPGPU applications (e.g. Cyberlink MediaEspresso 6.5) and it is broken since 11.10 even in the latest 11.12.

I have to say that AMD are totally awesome in introducing new bugs every now and then, well done indeed !!!

The problem is that those drivers run bad even without cap in Battlefield 3.
