Easy solution to this is to use Voltage Control in MSI Afterburner. Would be nice if it worked right in the drivers though.

Yea Afterburner you have to set the enableoverclock setting to "2" right? Or else it will still powerplay. I might try this

Noob question time, but how does one set up Applications profiles?

I have the pull down menu, that has <<NewApplication>> and a button to Save next to it, I have no options in the pull down menu Then if i click on the app .exe I get a pop up Saying this application profile has been updated with the updated with the current 3D settings, But it still does not show the app, ... I do not think it working for me

You could have done this with radeon pro for months now, and there was already a profile system, it just wasnt automatic, nice to see one less fanboy and one more self-aware consumer, though

WEI is legitimate enough to give you consistant scores, although recently, I cant completely the dx9 bench unless I drop my overclock heavily. If it drops that much, something is up, I would try some games, if you are getting similar results, rollback to your last driver

For those that want the score back in WEI. Use this

    Code:
    REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce" /v "Genetix System Assessment" /t REG_SZ /d "%SystemRoot%\System32\WinSAT.exe formal -restart clean"
    Start>Run>REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce" /v "Genetix System Assessment" /t REG_SZ /d "%SystemRoot%\System32\WinSAT.exe formal -restart clean">enter
Restart the PC and wait till the assessment is done. That will delete the old score, and make a clean bench.

These drivers destroyed my OpenCL application a good -25% performance. Even removing everything with Drivers Sweeper (even the Visual C++ libraries) and reinstalling catalyst 11.11c did NoT fix it.
Most likely there is something written in the register causing this. Most likely I will need to reinstall Windows, great...

8.93 18nov kicks 12.1 preview's ass according to this helpful fellow:

    www.benchmark3d.com/amd-catalyst-12-1-preview-driver-benchmark

    some overall benchresults:

    11.12 Beta 18 Nov 100 %
    11.11 WHQL 95.2 %
    11.11a Performance Driver 99.1 %
    11.11b Performance Driver 97.6 %
    11.11c Performance Driver 95.8%
    11.12 Beta 22 Nov 96.5 %
    11.12 Beta 29 Nov 96.2 %
    11.12 Beta 03 Dec 96.2 %

11.10 whql appears to be the best driver for Skyrim according to the benchmarksite.

This info may be useful but pls only trust your own judgement ;)

By far the Best driver for battlefield 3, so smooth, 60fps @ 2560 ultra details, no fps drops -not using caps.

Saturation doenst work thought :( any workaround ?

Wow these drivers are so bad.

    Stuttering in ACR

Scaling no longer applies, so my screen is fuzzy and small.

And probably a lot of other people I haven't encountered yet, this is a new low for ATI.

    1920 x 1200 max ingame settings
    Single GPU 62fps
    Crossfire 82fps
    Trifire 100fps

performance in Skyrim is terrible with these drivers:puke2:. Anno 2070 unchanged in comparison with 11.11c, I have installed back 11.12 WHQL.

Nice pooled results about FPS, but honestly reading all this just created a head load of confusion for me.

So what about stability of those individual drivers, graphical glitches in some specific games, bug fixes in the games, profile fixes, actually gameplay experience with mentioned FPS (rather than just FPS_frames pooled per second, what is the actually real time frame rendering duration between each frame for smoothness)....so what about all those?

I mean, whats the point I get grass flickering glitch in a game and FPS is just 4.8% lower at the highest resolution and maximum game graphics settings. (lets stay I get 49 FPS in a game and with latest drivers I get 46 FPS, but without any glitches..is that not worth it?)
