It should work because they have removed the old 30015 version. I will try it later when I get home.
Sorry for late reply, but yea it worked. It now actually list my monitor model on the audio device, thank you!
Can confirm it works on driver v30.0.13001.2011
Hi, does this version has relive recording tab active, I have the previous one and is missing.
The audio driver comes under optional updates and is called amd media driver
Nope uwp has minimal install at the moment for the control panel
to get full control panel options use 21.7.1
Yes. Or at least it is for me.
It it similar to the minimal install option on official AMD drivers? I've heard in the past that the minimal install option didn't include Wattman, but the UWP drivers do have Wattman support
No, no relive with any of the UWP drivers.
It's a mix, since you get the overlay and performance features.
You miss only Relive.
performance tuning is included in minimal install of both normal and uwp drivers
only relive is removed from in minimal and uwp
Currently using official 21.7.1 drivers with minimal install (due to doom eternal crashes with UWP) and there is no performance tuning tab with the minimal install.
I stand corrected, i just use full install doesnt hurt anything
only those who want every KB accounted for in memory or hard drives use minimal LOL j/k
new AMD UWP Control panel has launched today, MS Store (10.21.30016.0).
the one that windows gave me under optional update is from 2019, so probably not haha
as if amd actually updates the audio driver.
With the AMD radon software app v10.21.30016.0 it shows the audio as not available, so I updated it to the version you posted, and still shows it as not available in the uwp app (the app is in Spanish btw)
I think this is because of the new Radeon Settings App version 10.21.30016.0. I can't see the audio driver version too. But I have a shot here with the previous 10.21.30015.0 version where the audio driver version is reported correctly.
In device manager, I can see that I still use the same AMD audio driver as before - ver 10.0.1.20.
so can there be a solution to this???
Solution for what? The driver works perfectly. I can use the speakers of my monitor through DP cable using AMD audio driver. I use the AMD audio driver from Adrenalin 21.7.1 (non-whql-radeon-software-adrenalin-2020-21.7.1-win10-64bit-july15\Packages\Drivers\Audio)
I don't care that Radeon Settings just doesn't display the version.
Well I guess the only one who can solve the audio driver version not showing is AMD, so I hope it shows the version on a future uwp update
