Damn it. You find a solution for one thing and then another is broken. With these, the voltage doesn't save after shutdown. Always compromises. And Wreckfest is broken.

I just finished playing Wreckfest on v27.20.21003.9006 and voltages/clocks save on those.

DDU and go to that version, for me it's better all around than v30

Also, you have to remember one thing.
These drivers come from Insider builds of Windows 10. So, they are far from being Stable or final.

I now installed 20.6.1 (27.20.22001.14011) and Wreckfest is fixed. Voltage saves but probably Custom Color doesn't after shutdown.

Edit: Now that I found someone who plays Wreckfest, need to ask you something. :D

    Nice.
I'd wish I could try 21.6.1, but, every time I install it I get this every reboot.

And I have tried everything to fix it, even reinstalling Windows.

    Sure, what do you need?

Uninstalled drivers with DDU in safe mode
    rebooted
Installed latest UWP driver v30.0.13000.17006 with device manager pointed at the extracted folder
    rebooted
Radeon Software installed automatically through Windows Store

Opening Radeon Software gives me a message saying "this version of radeon software is not supported with your current driver"?????

    image_2021-06-26_171213.png

    Running Windows 10 21H1 (Build 19043.1081)

HAGS is working for me fine, just the radeon software won't load for some reason. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still the same error.

I have the same error!

Today my Windows 21390.2025 decided to update my Radeon Software app (just the app, without the driver). After the update, the system says that Radeon Software is not compatible with AMD drivers 30.0.13000.17006. Till today everything was ok - driver and software from WU were compatible.

Oh dear... it seems we are both in a pickle here.

Anyone got the older "working" version and is there any way to prevent it from being updated?

I think driver ver 30.0.13000.17006 is paired with Radeon Settings ver 10.21.30001.0 (according to "uwppair.inf" file). The current Radeon Setting app provided by WU is 10.21.30010.0 (newer).

Get AdvancedMicroDevicesInc-2.AMDRadeonSoftware_10.21.30010.0_x64__0a9344xs7nr4m.appx which is the one that works with that driver.
    Double click to install.

You may need to enable sideloading of apps.

I think that the problem is caused just because of this version (30010). It's not compatible with the driver. I just installed the previous version 30005 and it works fine. :)

I still don't know how the new version appeared today via WU (the weekend).

How did you install 30005? I downloaded it from the link above and the file is named

    1cfcaf53-1ffa-46c9-94d7-ce24c9fec2ad

and can't be installed like the other .apex file??

I just select and copy the text of the link (the file name) and then I click "Save link as" over the link. Then the save dialog will offer you the name you just copied as text.

Then it's just enough to double click on the already downloaded appx file to install it.

Try to click on this link (or Save link as): AdvancedMicroDevicesInc-2.AMDRadeonSoftware_10.21.30005.0_x64__0a9344xs7nr4m.appx

You can just rename the already downloaded file (and the extension to .appx). Just check the size of the file to be sure that it's not an empty file.

for some reason it was downloading it without the ".appx" at the end??

strange one, I just added it to the end of the saved file and now it works fine.

    Cheers! :D

I have a weird problem only with Wreckfest. Just wanted to ask you if you have the same but probably not.

If I play Wreckfest first after a shutdown or restart, it's fine. If I play any game before Wreckfest and then play it, I get 30-40 less FPS and it also feels jittery. Not smooth at all. The core & memory clock and voltages are normal but the only difference is the power. For some inexplicable reason it only uses ~150W compared to the usual ~180W and that 30W makes a big difference. To fix it, I either restart but that's inconvenient or I just restart the GPU driver using CRU's restart64.exe. And then it's back to normal. Don't understand this. I am thinking maybe it has something to do with how this game handles full screen mode and running a 3D full screen application before Wreckfest messes something up with its logic. But it would happen to everyone so it has to be something specific to my system. This is the only game that I know of that requires a game restart when changing between full screen and window mode!

I will pay attention next time I play it, but I don't think I saw such thing. I normally just lock my fps to 68 to be inside my monitors FreeSync range and I never see it drop below that.
It's indeed a weird issue you are having!
