AMD Radeon Software - UWP

It says "supported" but I can't see the option in Windows settings for 21390.2025 build (21H2).

 

Quite smooth gaming with the latest ones.

Did you search correctly after reboot at "right click desktop - > display settings - > graphics settings - > change default graphics settings - > hardware accelerated gpu scheduling -> toggle 'on' ?"

It's all there together with auto hdr and variable refresh rate

Weird. Try removing everything with DDU, unplug the net and install driver afterwards from windows update. At least you'd know OS isn't bricked. You are missing a whole bunch of settings there!

 

Probably it's available on 21H1 (19043.xxxx builds) only. I'm on 21390.2025.

 

But I'm on the same dev build. You should see from 1 up to 3 settings there. AutoHDR, HAGS and VRR.

 

Tomorrow I will try Windows 11 (21996.1 build) and then I will reinstall 21390.2025 to see if HAGS will appear.

 

I can see and enable HAGS, on latest public (non-insider) 21H1 build with 6800.

 

HAGS working fine for me too.
Has to be a problem with the driver install.

On another note, there are EXTREME amounts of stuttering on my end.
I will have to revert back sadly.

 

I'm also on 21390.2025, build 21996.1 won't appear here?? (and driver 30.0.13000.17006) and no HAGS. Its supported as GPUZ, but I don't have it in windowsettings..
I also have the "old" CCC, if the UW driver comes without it, from Unreal 21.5.1. driver working fine.

BTw, if you want (a lot) more perf, set powerlimit GPU to 320W (for example with a R6900XT) with more powertool. You have to load a ROM first, (techpowerup have one).

 

So far I've only run a handful of benchmarks and they are definitely better. My clock speed is lower too and I didn't change my AB settings. I'm on Win 19043 and can turn on hags. The VR test is the big one.

 

Anyone with 6800XT and HAGS enabled? Maybe it's available for 6800 only.

It was dirty install, no uninstall or DDU, over last UWP.

Ok. DDU now and reinstall. Had no Radeon settings, although scores were somewhat better. Warhammer vermintide 2 had stutter here and there while in dx12 slowly catching 1080 gaming x in dx11...but that stutter....

 

So far, with HAGS enabled, everything seems fine. Will keep using it over the weekend and see how it goes.

 

HAGS is definitely causing the stutter in DX11, with it off the stutter is gone not sure yet if the performance is too. Looks promising though once they get that stutter sorted out.

 

Which game? I'm playing Final Fantasy XIV right now, which is DX11 and not running into any stuttering.
