I have tested 22621, 23471, and 25381 and I have HAGS working on all of them with my 7900.

Keep in mind that 25381 (Canary aka Win12) is incompatible with all AMD drivers for now.

I still have sometimes green screens on videos on Chrome browsers. One workaround is changing ANGLE to D3D11to12 (chrome://flags).

Oh, this is what I needed
The same happens to me with 22621 and Vivaldi, Edge and the Twitter app (It uses edge)

    Gonna test it out.

    Thanks!

It's in Polish, but the options are corresponding to yours, so I bet you will understand it.
Is there any other method to check it?

Did you check your registry under Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers ? if there is a dword called "HwSchMode" and set to "2"?

If that doesnt help/already there could u post your "dxdiag" output?

There should be a line called:
    Hardware Scheduling: DriverSupportState:Stable Enabled:True
    Block List: No Blocks

@Rambo you can check it with CapframeX, too.

    Gonna try then.

    EDIT:

    Hardware Scheduling: DriverSupportState:AlwaysOff Enabled:False
    Block List: DISABLE_HWSCH

    So no love for me.

Ok seems like the registry key which blocks hags is still set.
    Open regedit navigate to
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\BlockList\Kernel

and delete the keys there after doing that there shouldnt be a output for blocklist anymore
(always backup the reg key before deleting)

Is it normal to have the second line when it's ON?

btw just out of interest, is there someone who wants to test the new driver combined with nimez tweaks? (have a old nimez driver which works to set the tweaks with vanilla driver) and after setting the tweaks through the old driver you are also able to set his tweaks inside his newest driver.

@The Creator regarding the second line Iam not sure if I deleted the key a long time ago, or if it was removed by the driver.

I deleted these keys and now DxDiag reports this:
    Hardware Scheduling: DriverSupportState:Stable Enabled:True
    Block List: No Blocks

Otherwise, I don't see any difference after deletion (detection or performance).

How can UWP drivers be so different from normal, stable drivers when it comes to smoothness? I mean really - I've never had a game experience like this before. This is HUGE improvement on my 5700XT and the real question is: why normal drivers are so scuffed? Thats not even funny...

Still no HAGS tho, but im on W10.

The AMD Insider Preview UWP driver is still experimental, including HAGS. If it is stable enough, it will be released as an official version.

Usually, we have a new UWP driver when there is something new and it should be tested. They don't release new UWP drivers without a reason. It's not like Adrenalin - a new driver just for some new games or just because it's a new month already. And most cases the Adrenalin "optimizations" for the game are just on paper and they are not noticeable in practice.

BTW there is a new Radeon Setting App v10.23.20012.0. I don't know if everyone receives it automatically.

Incorrect statement. As all these positive changes should theoretically eventually move into consumer version of driver, UWP just gets it earlier as beta preview.

Really? UWP doesn't mean to be an earlier beta or even beta. I get betas just because I'm on DEV/Canary channel. Otherwise, I will get a normal stable UWP driver once in a blue moon.

I don't get 2-3 useless UWP drivers per month as Adrenaline does. AMD doesn't release a new UWP driver for each new game. That was my point.

What is useless about regular fixes and sometimes +>10% more fps in some new games?
The latest UWP canary driver e.g. still misses TLOU shader compile RAM consumption fix.

Btw. HAGS is still bad-ish. Monstrous stutter in TW3 Rem. and a bit of stutter in TLOU.
