30.0.13017.5006 21.9.2 newer than Windows Update driver?

 

Seems like it. Windows update attempted to download 30.0.13002.3023 today I blocked it though until it's checked out

 

I just got pushed update 30.0.13019.1006 from Windows Update.

What is the version of Radeon Settings App paired with this 30.0.13019.1006 driver? The driver didn't trigger the app installation (even I had UWPPair.inf installed) so I had to install 10.21.30019.0 manually.

Where is this 2021.0910.1512.27366 coming from?

 

I got this one via Microsoft Store, but had to manualy install UWPPair.inf manually.

 

It's weird. Usually versions like 2021.0910.1512.27366 come with official Adrenalin drivers, not from Windows Updates.

Just for the record - I'm with Windows 11 build 22463.1000 and 6800XT video card.

So you have "Software Version - 10.21.30019.0" just like me. I still wonder how this is possible:

 

yes i installed the UWPPair manually and this is the latest software version.

there is a new one but wont work withput UWP

 

add a ".cab" to the end of the file and extract it.

 

The mystery is solved:



I just had installed the official Adrenalin 21.9.2 driver and then I did Windows Update. The new driver replaced the official one but Radeon Settings App remained. So now I have a working combination of UWP driver and App from official drivers. The context menu has AMD links.

Usually, UWP driver needs MS Store version of the app and it rejects to work with the app from official drivers.
