AMD Radeon Software - Preview Drivers - DCH/UWP

Good to know it works with same GPU and thank you for the contribution. I don't think I will update now though, I just got done tuning my OC/UV and generating my emulator shaders. Don't want to risk a chance of instability or stutters. Had unfortunate luck with OC results by changing drivers.

 

31.0.22013.1002 is available via Windows Update.
It comes with HYPER-RX. But HAGS is still not supported.

 

Does this v31.0.22013.1002 version have AFMF features?

 

No, this driver seems more like 23.9.1.

Just like all UWP drivers this one doesn't include the audio driver. It can be installed separately. The driver installs AMD Radeon Software 10.23.20018.0 from the old branch via MS Store automatically but the newer AMD Radeon Software 10.23.30010.0 can be installed with a hack.

I have uploaded the new AMD Radeon Software 10.23.30010.0 with the hack for the installation,


If someone wants to use the app on the new preview AFMF driver from the new 23.30.xxx branch, then the part for hacking the registry (CNVersion=23.20 pointing to the old driver) in the cmd file should be deleted/commented. The driver is already 23.30.

 

does this driver fix the Tuning options being reset on every reboot with the Windows 11 Moment 4 update ? KB5030310

i have the problem same as yours it happen since installing Nimez driver
i tried every driver version its same always reset to default clock after restarting windows

So it's time to try THIS.

And how reinstalling Windows will help when it will receive KB5030310 again?

AMD UWP v31.0.22013.1002 (Radeon VII Mod)

I have modified the inf file adding Vega20 (Radeon VII) missing things. The new AMD Radeon Software 10.23.30010.0 is included.
I can't test it on my machine so tell me if it works with Vega.

 

Any updated modules compared to the AFMF Preview Driver? Is WDDM 3.2 supported like it is in the AFMF Preview?

I'm glad to hear that it works.

So the code in the driver still supports the "old" cards, just AMD removed the IDs from the inf file.

after windows installed go to edit group policy (gpedit.msc) and configure automatic update and choose option 2 notify to download and install update

btw KB5030310 its an optional update not in my list( in the pic) so for me Wattman reset clock problem after restarting windows is 100% came from Nimez driver
