AMD Radeon Software Customize Setup updated to v4.5.5.140 (20221212)

I designed a new AMD Software Installer Control Panel to configure DXNAVI during installation quickly.

 

I do not know if in this forum has a rule that allow member to copycat other projects without permission or not, but after seeing DirectX Optimization, that feature is identical to Amernime Drivers has (called DXNavi, has been implemented since 22.5.1).

Strange thing is, I do not found any trace of amernime copyright tags or this link that refers to the DXNavi guide

To be honest, I appreciate the efforts you did, but it would be better if you could include credits to the amernime author.

 

There are many ways to modify it, this feature and project belongs to AMD itself （DXNAVI DirectX 11 API is AMD designed, Not belongs to no one ）, I don't know why you say that.

 

There is nothing wrong with these project. As i said before, the answer is simple. All of these variable registry only can be found on my driver package, since long time.


And why these table are so similar?
Since May 2022, "DXNAVI" branding was another name of Navi Optimization which only found on my driver package. Original name of DX NAVI are DX PAL


At least, if you have such a project, mention the person or credit.

 

OK, these partial changes do refer to some information about you. But I don't think this is a copy of other people's projects, because the actual modification method is somewhat different. And these registration information should belong to AMD company. Thank you, I can write this some refer about Amernime Zone information in the next version.

I've already installed AMD driver 22.11.2 since it was launched( normal installation). Is it possible to use this tool to only change dxnavi to legacy? im asking this because i dont want to "build" again the shaders cache of dx12 games, etc...

 

Switch DirectX UMD mode without reinstall. you can change DXNAVI to Legacy DirectX 11 by this tool.

 

New to AMD, been on nvidia since 2009. What does changing DX to Legacy do?

changing DX to Legacy DX11 can improve some hardware acceleration issues, for me it solove YouTube flickering screen problem.
