    Should I add these dwords to regedit, because I don't have them there?

    If they do not exit, you need to add them manually.

    1) You can run CCC from a copy of the CCCSlim dir from an older install. It will give you all the missing settings.

    2) It's a known issue that adjusting clock settings from AB with Hawaii/Grenada will give you instant graphical boom. Use Wattman to adjust clocks, and you can use AB for everything else safely. (voltages and fan profiles)

    YES:

    Make txt file (BugFix.reg Yes change .txt to .reg) with those lines :

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000]
    "KMD_MaxUVDSessions"=dword:00000020
    "DalAllowDirectMemoryAccessTrig"=dword:00000001

    And the add to registry, then to be sure check is it there ;)
    Reboot and check if Bug persist... it should be dealt of now :banana:

    A reply in regards to this issue from AMD:

    It appears this will be resolved for all models by next release.

    *To All Whom I Have Modded Your GPU BIOS* If your having any troubles with the BIOS, please let me know. I noticed on many of them incorrect default parameters that would cause instability issues. I'm happy to work out the kinks for ya.

    MSI Afterburner doesn't work so well on some cards. Primarily the issue with MSI Afterburner is when you check mark all the Unified Overclock BS, which just Cluster-F*s everything. Stick with a default installation without all that stuff check marked. Maintain ULPS, don't increase limits etc. If you want more speed, send me your BIOS .rom dump via GPUZ. Otherwise you have three other alternatives. Among the last being ATIWinFlash v274.

    One more attempt to promote your BIOS mods here in the same impolite MSI AB attacking way, and you'll leave this place forever. Take it as the final warning.

    Here, my card with your BIOS (Faster) is working great.
    I still have to try the 1173MHZ one, but, so far, it's awesome.
    Thank you once again!

    Well, in that case, I might just be unlucky :(
    Cause I have this problem with all relive drivers, already cleaned with DDU :/
    And I still have friend with RX 480 confirming it.

    I did report it to AMD, so hopefully they will take a look into it.

    @UnWinder : I apologize for seeming to be impolite. As I am a very polite person in reality, not to mention actuality. I am only here to help, as many of us here have problems. From problems comes solutions, and I'm not one to just complain about a problem. I am one to be happy to help resolve an issue so it is no longer an issue. Again I am sorry.

    @MerolaC : Great Man. I'm happy to hear it is working quite nicely for you. That makes me very happy to hear that. If you have any concerns or issues, please contact me because I'm always happy to help.

    Do you just get a weird number in the properties of the file, or an actual file with weird FPS?

    I can confirm this does NOT work. I added the entries to both of my GPUs and rebooted, but I can still reliably trigger the UVD bug by making a Skype call.

    I might have a work-around for this clock bug, though, but I am not sure if anybody would be willing to try this. There was a similar clock bug triggered by some of the older versions of 3DMark in which some animation in the startup of 3DMark caused the GPU to go to UVD state and get stuck there regardless of what AMD driver you used, and resulted in lower 3DMark score for some people. Since I use Windows 10 N which does not come with the Media Feature Pack pre-installed and does not support any type of GPU-accelerated decoding using Microsoft codecs out of the box, I actually did not experience that bug with 3DMark until I was forced to manually install the Media Feature Pack to get proper video playback in my browsers. Right after installing the pack, I started experiencing the issue with 3DMark. My theory is that if this pack is not installed at all, the UVD bug will never happen since the GPU will never enter the UVD state in the first place; the only issue is that video streaming using browsers will be limited to only the low quality options (e.g. on Youtube) and hence, is not suitable for most people.

    Both
    The file in my last example shows a video at 26fps in the properties.
    Playing the video with VLC with fraps open, fraps do show the framerate of the video like it is a game, and it show as well 26fps.
    I don't think that a HD 7850 would had trouble to record a game at 30FPS 1080P ^^

    They do not exist. I did added them, but it haven't fixed 300/150MHz bug on my R9 270X.

    It also didn't work for my HD7870, thanks anyway.

    OT: Btw, I'm problably replacing the older HD7970 for a RX480 4GB. Under current drivers on RX480 it's still OK to disable power efficiency on global settings, don't touch anything OD/Wattman related and just launch MSI AB to control gpu/mem clocks? Tnx.

    People who are using this as a fix may also wish to use:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000]
    "KMD_MaxUVDSessions"=dword:00000020
    "DalAllowDirectMemoryAccessTrig"=dword:00000001

    You can have more than one ControlSet, and your active one may not be ControlSet001. This may be why the fix is not working for you.

    I've tested on both, it still happens. But there seems to be a difference that explains why it works with some people. Let my try to explain, I test it by making Chrome stick into 450/1200 on idle and then open a clip in MPC-HC while this happens (it won't trigger the bug if the card rests at 300/150). After this two concurrent UVD accesses the card won't revert to 300/150 again after both programs are closed.
    But with this fix, Chrome is more eager to revert to 300/150 on idle while running, instead of making the card stay at 450/1200 after some web content is loaded. So by the previous process, the bug will only happen if MPC-HC is open during the shorter (and less permanent) interval where Chrome is still at 450/1200. So, if the card rests more time at 300/150 instead of 450/1200 when other UVD content is initiated along a running browser, it's less likely to trigger the bug.

    BIOS Signature Check is still enable in this driver?
    My friend send broken XFX R9 270X DD 2GB for warranty and they give him new XFX RX 460 DD 2GB. Weird deal. So i thinking about unlocking this GPU for performance.
