You need GCN capable of feature levels 12_0, so You need true Base for DX12 API...

Next we need True DX12 Games ;)

The same for me 20fps, but in win 7 works fine.
I think that WDDM 2.1 broke the game.

Yup The WDDM 2.1 with GCN 1.0 in some Games is a no-Go :bang:
GCN 1.0 Holders need to wait for Big Update (if they are to blame ;) maby it's MS again? )

Fingers Cross for new OMEGA :)

Sadly Battlefield 1 still doesn't run well with Crossfire. :( Both my cards are not utilized to their full potential.

Had major stutter in Deus Ex Mankind Divided (DX12) on 16.11.4. Had to go back to 11.3 which works a charm.

Which GPU do you have? It seems that with 11_1 GPUs the game will crash at certain points under DX12.

Using 16.11.5 and Deus Ex Mankind Divided runs like a charm.

Windows 10 is pretty much essential for FX cpus, I get ~3% more performance from change of OS which may not look like much but on some games it's massive. There's also DX11 games that seem to run so much better (or maybe it's just the drivers, haven't gone back to Win7). Went from 80 fps on Ultra in Sniper Elite v2 to 135 fps on the benchmark (170-250 in game). Plenty of other old DX11 games working better than they did back when I was on Win7.
SSD (and I think HDD as well) performance is also a bit better.

Windows 10 is still very buggy after each major patch though but the many smaller patches are fixing things up eventually.

I have a question but I don't really want to create a new topic for that... I'm thinking about getting a fury (cheap at the moment to crossfire with my fury X, I was wondering, I know the faster card speed lowers down to the slower cards speed, but what about the stream processors and texture units, would the Fury X be lowered to the Fury specs in that regard ? Thanks in advance

You should probably start a new topic if your question is not related to the existing one. That said, the faster card slowing down to match the slower one is a pure myth. As somebody who has a non-identical CF setup, I can confirm that it is 100% false. A Fury + Fury X setup WILL be faster than 2x Fury and the Fury X will NOT slow down to match the Fury. Heck even if it does, the Fury X has more stream processor as you mentioned; do you expect the driver to also disable the extra stream processors? Even two 100% identical cards will go out of sync regularly; this is handled by ordering all the frames in one buffer in the master GPU. You can also control the clock speed of both GPUs INTERDEPENDENTLY using a tool like MSI Afterburner.

All these aside, since non-identical cards like my setup do NOT work in DX12 linked-node multi-adapter mode, you should probably not do that because you will only be able to use your master card in most current and upcoming DX12 titles (in fact anything expect Ashes of the Singularity which uses DX12 multi-node multi-adpater). This is something AMD can probably fix because at the end of the day, the same buffering used in DX11 AFR is also used in DX12 linked-node multi-adapter, but they probably won't. I have reported this like 4 times already but gave up because they clearly don't care.

I made the exact same mistake as you, bought a cheap 7970 to pair with my old 7950 and now I am regretting it. You can find more info is here.

Any news for better drivers? I am bored with wddm 2.1 problems. Even low end nvidia gpus are superior to any amd gpu in darksiders war-remastered for example and i have the latest beta from steam. :'( pfff so much hype for windows 10 and amd love but...no go in the end

That is a problem with the game not with the drivers as mentioned by the developers on the steam forums.
But yet, it's quite bad that AMD Users always suffer comparing to Nvidia. ;(

Not sure if the December driver will ever come as a major upgrade.
Last year, AMD started to PR the Crimson drivers months before December.
I don't see any PR related to drivers yet, so I wouldn't hold my breath hoping for new major driver release.

I am not expecting any AMD driver release until the big Zen including Zen APU announcements and live streaming and so on on December 13.

They know we would data mine into the drivers for information on the upcoming products that will have information in any GPU driver release.

Patch #1: AMD Performance Problems & Misc Fixes
We know that we need to iron out a few issues asap and are working hard to deliver the best possible Darksiders experience.

    Patch #1
    Changelog
    2nd December 2016
    - Fix for AMD performance problems
    - Fix for users with Non-ANSII character based usernames that had problems to get config saved / loaded
    - Fix for users without pre-existing keyboard config could not load / save keyboard config
Note : If you had working keyboard config load / save, then please copy your keyboard configuration to the new place.
    The old file was %localappdata%\Darksiders\controls.dcon
New location and filename is %appdata%\kaiko\darksiders1\keymapping.bin
Please just copy the file and rename it.

We are looking forward for your feedback!

(So, warlord, it turned out to be not a driver issue.)
